  1. With a win tomorrow no matter what happens the rest of the way, the Brewers clinch at LEAST a one game playoff.
  2. Well bullpen, you've been phenomenal on this homestand so far, please continue to be. Let McClung go the 7th, Coffey in the 8th, then Sal.
  3. C'mon Brewers this is your chance to go 1 up with two to play, how bad do you want it??
  4. Agree 100%. I know for a fact I am way more nervous then the players are. A nice comfortable early lead would go a long way towards calming my/all of our nerves tonight. This hanging on every pitch is going to put me 10 feet under sooner rather than later.
  5. What is sad is even if Counsell reaches, I have ZERO confidence in Braun right now. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  6. Well Mikey, it's your time, you've had a lot of clutch hits lately(amongst all your K's) how about the biggest clutch hit of the year right here?? Does this team miss Kapler right now or what?? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  7. Uh oh...I understand the move but Stetter scares me here. Please PLEASE prove me wrong Mitch.
  8. All I know is I had better see Branyan with a bat in his hand getting ready to PH in the bottom of the 10th.
  9. First off, I believe Lou said he would be playing a similar line up tomorrow. Secondly, why in the world would any manager play their starters in those conditions when a playoff spot was wrapped up? If the Brewers were in that position, fans would want the manager's head if he played the starters. Not if the integrity of the playoff race was in the balance like this is. There is a right way to do things and a wrong way to do things, and Lou did them the wrong way. He didn't use marmol at all in the 8th in the last two games, but what do you want to bet he runs him out there against the crew??
  10. Mets win.....thanks for using your best bullpen guys Lou. At least Fredi Gonzalez understands the integrity of the game and has said he will use his regulars all series. You wanna talk about a possible death blow tonight. This is scary. A tie is not what I was hoping for after tonight's results, because of Lou deciding he wants to laugh in the face of the game of baseball.
  11. Ummm Dale, there is this Lefty major power hitter on your bench that just happens to play 3rd base, perhaps you should have PH him there??
  12. $10 says Lou uses Marmol/Wood in every late inning close game in the Brewers series. Idiot.
  13. And....Bob Howry just gave up the tying run in NY. I bet Lou doesn't use him at all in the Brewers series.
  14. You absolutely have got to be kidding me with this crap lineup Lou. Don't tell us your playing these games like any other, then trot this craptastic Triple A lineup out there. Unfricking real. My question for you then Lou is this....if you are going to play this crappy lineup against the Mets, are the Brewers going to get the same courtesy?? Because if you go with your best lineups throught that whole series, then you are being incredibly disingenious. At least Freddi Gonzalez is a man of integrity. he has said he will play his regulars for "the integrity of the game". You could learn something from him Lou.
  15. This one is one Lou. IBB walking Endy Chavez to load the bases with two outs, leading to the tying walk.
  16. Total BS Lou. You said you were playing these games the same you would any other. Yet you put that crappy ND WR in to pitch the 8th instead of Marmol. Thanks, thanks alot Lou.
  17. What other options does Sveum have right now other then CC on short rest?? Rather him on short rest then Suppan and his 10.48 September ERA.
  18. Well, I guess we will truly see what this team is made of over the next two innings with their playoff lives truly hanging in the balance. Lose tonight, and it's pretty much go home. Do they respond, or do they fold??
  19. Is it just me or does it seem like guys with very little power have repeatedly hit big home runs this year against the Brewers??
  20. Why?? Why do I do this to myself every night?? Here they have climbed back into the race after last night, and I am giddy with glee thinking this is the perfect elixir for the Brewers.....being at home and playing the Pirates what can possibly go wrong?? Then the Brewers jump out to a quick 2-0 lead as do the Cubs and the optimism grows. Then what happens??? Bush walks 3 in an inning(including the Pitcher) and the Pirates tie it on a flair and then take the lead on the next AB. Meanwhile, in New York, Chad Gaudin channels his inner Jamie Cocanower and blows the lead in NY. Back in Milwaukee, the Brewers are being, well, the Brewers and stranding runners in scoring position on a regular basis and after an early lead the bats go silent(we've seen that before haven't we)?? But again, I ask, what could possibly go wrong?? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  21. Jason Marquis just WP'd in the tying run with two outs. Thanks Jason http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
