  1. COMON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. what's going on here? coco doesn't give up runs.
  3. The counsel graffy combo, the most feared in mlb.
  4. What is wrong with the bats? Granted this is about the worst lineup yost can trot out there without being fired, but I mean brandon mccarthy isn't very good. This team is very frustrating sometimes. Aflac answer: sammy.
  5. Where did i saw it was ok? I said I hope the cubs lose. Trying for the title of king of the overaction or something?
  6. Remember when this team seemed to win every game? Wasn't that awesome? I try to be optimistic as the next guy, but this looks like to be the first time the brewers will be swept this year. Just hope the dodgers take out the cubbies tomorrow and take "the season starts over monday" approach on monday. Atleast Braun looks to be as good as promised.
  7. John Kruk just predicted the pirates will over take the brewers in the central in may.
  8. Ron Burgundy: Boy, that escalated quickly... I mean, that really got out of hand fast.
  9. I'm pretty sure Charter doesn't have a FSN HD channel. If they did it would be a different channel then the standard FSN channel.
  10. How do you only get 4 hits (and 3 walks) over 9 innings in a game at coors field?
  11. Looks like we have a new closer. Good win. Hopefully Sheeter is dominate the rest of the way this year.
  12. Your telling me with an average bullpen this team wouldn't be near a playoff team in a weak national league? Please.
  13. Maybe we should bring Ben Sheets back as our closer... 2006: The year the bullpen cost us the wildcard.
  14. A huge roadtrip against contenders starting up. I know some of you think i'm probably making too much of this, but I really think this trip decides which way this team is going for the rest of the year (pennant race or wait till next year).
  15. I agree. For those of us who like reading them after the game is over it helped a lot. I think a half inning summary should be allowed.
  16. Yes this is based on jdlr doing a acceptable job as a started. If he fails, then the brewers are in even more trouble. Why do they desperately need a long man? The crew has 7 guys in the bullpen. Winkelsas, Mabeus, and whoever they bring up to replace eveland can all eat up innings if needed. And why don't you think that about eveland? So he has to struggle in 5 straight starts before we pull the plug? This isn't let the guys figure it out time anymore. This team is trying to be in a pennant race in september. Its not like he's just getting hit. He struggles to find the zone in all of his starts. That's my biggest issue.
  17. Well now we are talking a non-hypothetical here. The point is a 7+ era or worse consistently for a starting pitcher isn't decent like you were arguing. What should the brewers do now? Gonzalez should get the next start. Eveland sent down to get the more AAA work that he needs. Agreed its not an easy situation. Gonzalez, Sarfate, Jackson. Eveland isn't getting the job done. Try someone else. I think any of the 3 previous mentioned pitcher could put an era of around 8 too.
  18. Ok. You take your team with two starting pitchers with ERAs over 7 and try to make the playoffs. Not to mention the fact your bullpen is toast by july. Good luck with that.
  19. Fair point about the competition. We have yet to see a decent outing from him though. Also, his lack of control is really bothersome to me. He is a pitcher who is going to need good control because he doesn't have the stuff to get out of 4-5 jams a game. I'm also not concerned about the howard dinger. The guy can hit anyway. I'm not saying dana is doomed to suck, i'm saying he's not ready right now and his outings are not good and not acceptable.
  20. And? So youre saying a team would be happy if their #4 posted a 7.20 era (4 run in 5 innings) for the year? If this was one outing for eveland fine. The point is this is one of his better outings era wise. He's not ready to start in the majors yet. So if they don't score it doesn't matter? Pitch count going up faster, batter seeing more of your pitches doesn't matter?
