Ah Steve Woodard. I don't think you can blame the weight loss for the downfall of his career. Well that's if you believe the numbers the Brewers put out. He looks about 235-240. Kinda like when the Packers used to list Gilibert Brown at 350. If you play a sport for a living you should be in tip top shape period. Not saying I don't like him, he looks to have very good stuff. I just think he should dedicate himself to being in better shape is all.
I don't remember off the top of my head, who was it? The problem is when you're a professional baseball player your body is your job. There's really no excuse to not be in top physical shape. To me it sends the message of a lack of work ethic and overall laziness.
I think that could be said about every pitcher. There are only so many big ball parks and only so many good ground ball pitchers. I think the brewers just need good pitchers (like cappy) regardless of giving up fly balls that may not me a homer if it weren't in miller park.
Bunting on the first pitch wasn't a bad idea, because you're right it might have caught the defense by surprise and Rickie gets on. I agree there, but a straight up sac bunt by rickie is just stupid, even more so in the third inning.
Well if the corners are in and the infield is waiting for it, not really. The only reason it was close was because the pitcher took a look at third base before he threw.
Tie game, a couple of little squibers for one run. We're out small balling the ultimate small ball team right now. Now JJ!!! Showing the big stick, that homer prediction for JJ almost came true. 2-1
