    Is some possible explanation that being as tall as he is delayed him a bit both in coordinating the swing, and refining control of the bigger strike zone? It is certainly prudent to get some more time in AAA and see how he adjusts to their adjustments.

    Chourio announces his MVP campaign with 4 consecutive HRs today, and immediately induces grief in all the big markets that we already signed him to that extension so they have to wait to trade for him.

    I can't speak for other states, but the last time I had to call WI It wasn't terribly difficult to get a hold of a person, I just put down to get a callback. Possibly similar issue my address got autocorrected in their system.

    Just in general catchers don't age well. Even for HOF level catchers it is more that they were great in their peak years and can still produce enough to be productive in the line-up. Not someone I want to sign long term.

    Supply chain disruptions were only transitory as well... But to say that raising the cost on cheaper products (aka a tariff) doesn't having any inflationary pressure undercuts any logic to trade and specialization being worthwhile. Of course the economy can adapt over time to new rules that doesn't mean it will be as efficient as before, so Powell's statement is ridiculous.

    I'm basically waiting for retirement to do full on from scratch campaigns. I have found the quality of published campaigns and adventures has gotten really high and it has hit the sweet spot for me to be able to play and GM a lot without needing hours and hours of time outside the game.

    I'm able to get regular groups together sometimes, but a big part of why I stuck with Pathfinder and Starfinder is their organized play program makes it easy to play why my characters when I can and where I can and it's public so easy to join in.     I did D&D for many years and ended up trying Pathfinder because it was similar enough, but was easier to find games to play in when I was moving around and didn't know people.

    The issue about value here is that playing CF probably improves Jackson's individual WAR, but if you are actually playing the exact same OFers then you are also deflating their value and probably the teams total since Garrett and Blake are probably the slightly better defenders.

    I think it's solid advertising, on the face of it the offer looks respectable and now they get a bunch of social media buzz about their star player at what amounts to almost no cost.

    I did my best to tell some very dry jokes today in honor of Ueck. A decent number of the kids got it, so that was positive.

    Spent plenty of time today trying to figure out what to add to the conversation beyond repeating and liking 4 pages of posts. So here goes. He just made life better.

    I'd say even with DHing Contreras shouldn't play in much more than 150 games, That's roughly the 2 off days per month mark. If that number creeps up a bit from just pinch hit days that's OK.

    If Frelick could play 3rd like he plays RF that would solve a lot of things...

    The tackler on that play could also have easily made a difference, he practically helped the player get back up. You don't need to do anything silly that would have drawn a penalty but at least fall onto the guy you tackle and you burn at least 1 more second. Two if you pull some acting and stumble a bit on piling.

    I think it's useful in that regard, it basically gives you that if nothing goes really well, but nothing goes really wrong with a dose of trying to remove any prior luck factors with the regression. So for any particular team it is going to whiff on a lot of players because they won't all hit that mid range of performance, but it's an OK starting point for thinking about the team.
