  1. I'll gladly trade 114 mph in the dirt instead of in the air
  2. I'd be happy if my provider would just upgrade the highspeed offering from 10MB to like 25MB. Generally 10 MB is enough, but I can't stream and be on Brewerfan at the same time since the dumb adds use that much bandwidth
  3. I'm actually rather curious despite the heavy use generally Ashby has had a day off between appearances. Given that usage instead of being forced into back to back games it is possible he may be able to sustain a very high number of innings compared to normal relievers since the usage is potentially more controlled and predictable
  4. Can Ortiz make a productive out here? I don't ask much
  5. Well we have our actual hitters due up, so maybe we can snag a couple of runs
  6. Teams could do worse than signing Jesse Orosco at this point to get some innings against us
  7. A lot of those lineups could hit, it was the rotations of #7 starters and no one in the bullpens outside of closers that were the main issue
  8. I mean I did get a note that there was a JV baseball game today during announcements...
  9. As exciting as Lara has been I kind of want AAA pitchers to have a few chances to try and figure him before getting too confident that he has really taken a nice step forward. Absolutely if he is hitting above .300 with the rest of that profile he is a great addition for sure, but I'd still rate that as an if.
  10. It would be ideal as someone interested in Green Chemistry if they had worked out the economics of the recycling of solar and wind components, but I also recognize that if step 1 of the economic plan is wait 10 years until you have material that needs to be dealt with, the free market isn't going to have much to say on the matter since there is no income to generate from the issue.
  11. I would think so as well for Burke he has just abused the Southern League. Basically a HR every 10 ABs. Bauers hasn't done much offensively other than the 2 HRs, so trying to see what we might have for options latter in the season at 1st is good.
  12. I get a discounted rate on my home charger since it won't use peak electricity, So I get all the way down to 2.25 per 100 miles
  13. Off target could be a concern, but it's also possible as the number mounted that he started trying to over do it to make up for the pitcher. It is such an out there number I think you need to evaluate in a few more weeks.
  14. Easy: now the Brewer are mocking him by taking a HBP with dignity
  15. Miz Topping 100 that much in weather that cold is extra impressive as well
  16. Are 7-8-9 hitters almost being average hitters is hysterical for anyone who reads gameday threads
  17. scoring from 1st on a single and a 1 base error is might impressive base running.
  18. Brice ultimate team player, used up all those Ks in game 1 when he knew the rest of the team would be fine. Now he brings the bat
  19. That the universe set it up for this to be published today... Since he will be behind the plate today I would also like to add instead of merely calling a ball or a strike, why not call it a tie, so neither team can issue an ABS challenge and they just have to redo the pitch?
  20. Yes the revenue loss was a problem, but to the point about the Cardinals and others 20 million isn't nearly as big of a percentage of the total team revenue as it is for other teams. It is only 1/7 of our payroll
  21. Brewers paying for their team for the next 10 years now, Dodgers not paying for their team until 10 years from now (yes it's an exaggeration)
