    I kind of really want to keep Garrett because I think his tools really still give him a much higher ceiling than normal for a 26 year old because of the injuries. I didn't quite expect it to be this clear cut, but across all majors, minors, foreign leagues and college. Chourio has 1921 PAs while Mitchell only has 1666. Including way more major league ABs for Jackson and about double the minor league ABs. Experience-wise Garret looks more like a 2023 or maybe 2022 draftee at this point.

    Not impossible, but 20 games to go means the Brewers would need to go 5-15 or worse and the Cubs go 15-5 or better.

    Got free tickets today courtesy of Kwik Trip, awesome game to be at. Worth checking the game thread though I couldn't believe there wasn't much about the ridiculous review at first. It was clear as day on the scoreboard that Frelick beat the throw.

    I would assume they would at least try and see if he can get stretched out during spring, and still be effective now that he has found it again.

    There is a decent chance we got Burnes best years already at this point. Not saying he's going to be mediocre or anything, but our 3 Aces period may end up looking more like Oakland's where they had the good run for a few years and outside of that the pitchers continues to be effective in different locations but not replicating that peak. Instead of the Braves.

    The FIP numbers for me are important because Montas first starts were nothing special, and the 3rd he gave up the 3 unearned runs so you could kind of read his overall performance a couple of different ways.
