    As I recall the paratroopers at D-Day ended up rather scattered and disorganized. I recall reading at least a few stories about some getting treed, so the terrain might not have been great on top of the newness of the specialty may have also played a role.

    It really does seem like he couldn't hit at the Trop. The magnitude of that affect was just so extreme, but it sure explains the results so far quite well.

    I have no good idea what the cost of Scherzer would be, but from a playoffs perspective adding that 4th starter of ace quality would be super intimidating along with aggressive use of a slightly smaller pen in the playoffs (no need for 6 starters) does sound very appealing. Honestly if Hiura is starting to hit close to as expected it is a challenge to find obvious big holes on the position player side.

    There is also something to be said after a year of no baseball for these guys letting them enjoy some sustained success. Waiting until the draft if that's what they are doing is a nice balance in case they struggle a bit after the promotion.

    I'd agree with Chorizo on the valuation part. How many even amazing reliever's continue to be the best after 5 or 6 years of dominance? Enjoying what we got on the field is fine with me.

    I'll settle for winning the series, but sweep away and enjoy a 6 game lead at the halfway point. And our remaining schedule still ranks as fairly easy.

    I could see Mitchell and Gray get prompted at the same time, do they have someone who can play CF at Low A, or might they be waiting until the draft?

    Risk-wise it seems to be pretty small for anything severe, it might be worth figuring out what your schools isolation policy is going to be in the fall for vaccinated individuals just to see if that might be a big inconvenience if she tests positive at some point. In other news my 15 year old daughter completed shot 2 a couple of weeks ago no side affects beyond the standard slightly sore arm from a shot.

    Offensively the best remaining thing for the Brewers might just be JBJ deciding to hit like he often does mostly in the second half of the season.

    I kind of Like Donaldson in a mix between a pure salary dump by the Twins and getting something of value from us. Mix of time at 1st and 3rd he can get some more rest with us than as a pure everyday player. Platoons well with Vogelbach. Maybe something like send Cain back to partially balance the salary (when he gets back). He might have some nominal value with the Twins to take the field and make it easier to trade Buxton who might actually net a solid return. At this point I have no idea who I would consider fair prospect compensation to send. Trying to figure out prospect values this season is interesting, and I wouldn't be surprised if down the line there end up being some real head scratchers that get done this year. Or the reverse and few deals happen because teams have difficulty agreeing on how to evaluate players.
