  1. Well they will have to put at least two on the 60 day DL unless they plan on releasing two players.
  2. Interesting that Sickels had Lara at #8 when doing the Brewers top 20 but leaves him off the top 175 and adds Coulter.
  3. Counsell being former teammates with Capuano probably didn't hurt either. It seems like Capuano is the type of player that will remain with the organization after his playing days.
  4. I think Miller Park sticks around a while because of the retractable roof.
  5. While I don't necessarily agree with everything above at the very least there are scenarios where the Brewers could get to 100 loses, I don't see any scenario where they get to 82 wins.
  6. Well there is the rub and why they are more likely to lose 100 than get anywhere near 500. If any of these veterans perform well they are likely gone and if they play poorly that leads to losing.
  7. Guys like Capuano and Boyer are in the same boat, would likely clear waivers and nothing special. With the injuries it is basically choosing between a nothing special guy with no options/opt out clause or a younger player with options.
  8. With the Nolin injury that is my guess what happens now. Morales and Pena get the last two spots but Pena better produce if he wants to keep his job.
  9. Not a snowstorm around the southeast, maybe 2 inches. It is the last of the season so I am happy. Eau Claire could be a different story though.
  10. 1. Orlando Arcia 2. Jorge Lopez 3. Brett Phillips 4. Michael Reed 5. Josh Hader 6. Trent Clark 7. Zach Davies 8. Gilbert Lara 9. Adrian Houser 10. Clint Coulter 11. Kodi Medeiros 12. Jacob Nottingham 13. Isan Diaz 14. Tyrone Taylor 15. Cody Ponce 16. Devin Williams 17. Nathan Kirby 18. Keon Broxton 19. Monte Harrison 20. Jake Gatewood 21. Demi Orimoloye 22. Marcos Diplan 23. Nate Orf 24. Wei-Chung Wang 25. Garrett Cooper 26. Ramon Flores 27. Brent Suter 28. Tyrone Williams 29. Garin Cecchini 30. Colin Walsh
  11. I would be fine with the Brewers going with Tejada and getting rid of Hill so Villar starts at third.
  12. I believe Pena was outrighted after the 2014 season.
  13. I think Pena would clear but believe he can elect free agency. Nolin made it to the Brewers so no AL team claimed him previously. Jones would clear waivers as well but the Twins would take him back.
  14. That is actually great I don't want to pay for local channels I already get for free. $35 is actually pretty good if I can watch my sports teams. Must cheaper than cable and no fees for DVR, cable boxes and the like.
  15. I saw that Sony's Vue went national recently. Has anybody here subscribed to this? From what I can tell Vue does have Fox Sports but not sure if they air Bucks/Brewers games.
  16. If they wait until mid May they get another year of service with Davies. While it might not play a factor down the road there is no real rush to have him start now.
  17. I think we pretty much know what Anderson is at this point. Some have gone the other way and say he could be even better because he gained a couple of MPH on his fastball but I imagine he will again be a pitcher around .500 with a ERA in the low 4 area.
  18. The wall of honor is 250 games not 50, Wikipedia is wrong. Randy Wolf does not meet the criteria.
  19. It is just one game, they are who they are which is a 7/8 seed .Probably will win their first game and lose to the 1/2 seed. I don't think many ever thought of them as a top 16 team so winning one game in the tournament is meeting their expectations.
  20. I think I am going to get this and just attend the Saturday and Sunday games. Still only $10 a ticket and will be interesting to see where they put me. Wonder if they might assign some real nice seats to get positive word out. Also a good way for the Brewers to inflate attendance during the week.
  21. I have a feeling he is gone, strike while the iron is hot. Who knows when/if he makes the tournament again with UWGB. Good job by UWGB in finding him though.
  22. I don't know, they are a 7 loss team in a pretty poor conference. They have a couple of decent wins but some really bad losses as well. Very much a bubble team.
  23. I just don't think the value is there for the money a Lego. The thing I liked the most was the Legos of the city of Chicago and probably the 10 minute 4D movies. The things I didn't like was the cost, crowded, not a lot to do, factory tour was not a tour at all and just one room, the one laser ride wasn't working properly/old, no in/out allowed so stuck eating their overpriced and not so good food. The kids did like the Pirate play area but my kids like any playground, just wish there was more interactive stuff.
  24. I would probably pass on Lego, huge disappointment. Stick with the great museums downtown, Field, Shedd and Science have plenty for kids.
  25. There is no room for him, no options left. Just see how Cecchini does at AAA and go from there.
