  1. Yeah, I would think the plan is for Drohan to eat some innings today if necessary.
  2. Unless there is an injury to a pitcher I don't believe Gasser/Crow have met the 15 day minimum stay after being optioned.
  3. If he turns out good that is what you want, maybe one more option year if that was on the table. He is 31 after the 2035 season, decline years after that. Perhaps the risk isn't worth two free agent years but wish they had two more year with Brice Turang right now and they will be paying him more than $50 million if he sticks around through 2029.
  4. Rays win that trade pretty easily if Rasmussen was more healthy. If he stays healthy now the Rays will get some nice assets in return when traded mid season or after this season.
  5. Sure seems like it will be a struggle against lefties until Vaughn and Chourio get back. Pretty weak lineup no matter who Murphy puts out there.
  6. Ashby's contract isn't market rate, the market requires long term financial commitment, Ashby has one year deals he has to earn the final two seasons. There are risks to the contracts Peralta, Ashby, Chourio or Pratt sign but they pretty much eliminate risk at the back end of the contracta, which is valuable
  7. Considering they charge $10 for a souvenir cup of soda at Amfam, not horrible if you go often and you or you kids enjoy soda at the game. I worked concessions at Camp Randall this season and they sold a Stanley with one fill of soda for I believe $60 and we sold through our quantity of 5 both games I was there.
  8. I can't recall ever leaving a Brewers game early and the Brewers ended up winning but today was that day. Left after 7 as it was a pretty miserable performance all game and we already saw Saturday's win. Listened on the way home and amazed they were able to pull that off based on what we saw prior.
  9. It's going to be Mitchell the majority of the time. Will see what happens and if they stick with him.
  10. That is pretty bad that they won't provide Brewers coverage for the $50 extra, just another reason why to never have auto renewal as the loyal customers are treated like crap. I have been getting MLB through T-Mobile for free for a number of years so not too bad to pay $99 and get every MLB game including the Brewers.(minus national games on Apple and who knows where else)
  11. It's only an exhibition game but baseball is back in Milwaukee tonight.
  12. Mitchell is the strong side of the platoon and Lockridge weak so don't think it was ever Lockridge vs Mitchell. With Perkins na
  13. The Brewers pricing for Opening Day kind of shocked me. My kids have off for Spring Break so considering going and $125 for Terrace Reserved seats, Worse than the playoffs and that is face value.
  14. On the surface the Jacob Waguespack reassignment doesn't look like much but he had a pretty good spring and with the 15 day rule for optioned pitchers he may be the first pitcher recalled if another pitcher is optioned or DFA.
  15. With the way Fischer played during the WBC I hope the Brewers bring him up to Milwaukee for the two exhibition games.
  16. He has another year of arbitration in 2027 if tendered by the Brewers.
  17. Guys like Raleigh, Harper and Bregman have really disappointed. Lots of talk prior to these games starting that Turang shouldn't be playing over Henderson but really Henderson should be playing over Bregman. Bottom of order guys Turang and PCA carrying this team.
  18. This right here, even following some of their recent patterns of trading prior to a player's final year, that wouldn't be until the 2029 season. Fully expect Turang to be here in 2028.
  19. Looking forward to a Zerpa/Ohtani matchup in the WBC. Rooting for Conreras and Chourio to get out of their slump.
  20. Looking forward to a number of Chourio/Made seasons together. Barring an extension both could be here until 2033. Not so sure Made will be here for his ceiling since he is projected to be a free agent after his a ge 26 season if all goes well.
  21. I don't think even the Brewers would option a guy four months to manipulate service time.
  22. I don't get to many games anymore living in Madison but went last night as Giannis was playing and always the chance he might not be a Buck much longer. Great start to the game, they were lights out. The second quarter was one of the worst I ever sat through, losing a 16 point lead in about 3 minutes. Were able to get a lead at the half but the defense was atrocious so wasn't much hope the lead would last. They also had like 5 points in the first six minutes of the second half so that was fun. Got good seats for real cheap but not worth it, Giannis played well in limited minutes but he was super frustrated and I don't blame him if he finally leaves this summer. Not a great end of an era as it felt like last night was the final nail.
  23. Murphy like Perkins a lot as well, still think Perkins is the front runner to make the big league club.
  24. Hopefully Black can produce at AAA and the Brewers don't hesitate to dump Bauers if he struggles. No doubt Bauers was very productive in September and into the playoffs but there are a couple of thousand plate appearances in the majors indicating that isn't the real Bauers. Black was kind of the same way last year, he struggled most of the year but September gave us hope and that has extending into Spring Training. He still has much to prove.
