  1. Sure, fine. A crap left handed pitcher or right handed pitcher, why not both say the Phillies.
  2. On paper the Brewers caught a break getting both Painter and Nola(good luck on that contract) and they need to take advantage of that before facing Sanchez. For a team that the Brewers hardly face they sure are an annoying fanbase. Hopefully Miz can shut them down and shut them up for a bit.
  3. Not really concerned about Mitchell getting more expensive in arbitration years, more that he is running out of team control. History suggests he is traded after the 2027 off season at the latest so really not too out there to consider a trade after the 2026 season.
  4. Yeah, I don't know why a He-Man movie needs to be nearly 2.5 hours. Good but not a lot of young people unless they brought their kids like I did. mid teens to twenties were non existent.
  5. Was really hoping for a Perkins/Perkins matchup to see who would prevail, oh well.
  6. Saw Master of the Universe, the type of movie I wish came out in the late 1980's instead of what we got back then. However, don't see any resurgence happening or a sequel as lots of nostalgia there. It was always a toy line that had a cartoon just to help sell more toys.
  7. Doubt it if the thought is to get a filler 1 WAR player or f ringe prosepct. Mitchell is a starting CF that produces, if Lara is getting playing time then Frelick is hitting the bench. I can see trading Mitchell because he is never too far from another injury but need something worthwhile in return.
  8. Below are the number for Yelich during his extension. If you are disappointed by Yelich you will be disappointed with the numbers for Contreras post 30.
  9. This has been proven accurate. When the ump stinks be more aggressive with challenges. Wasted a Harrison start.
  10. I mean it has already proven otherwise, the Brewers broadcast tonight even pointed out how bad Vaughn is against RHP. Stick with what works.
  11. With the thin air the velocity for Miz will be even more but won't see that since tracked at release point.
  12. Not much there other than Rengifo can be traded June 16. Can't imagine that means much, if DFA today doubt he would get claimed for free.
  13. I hate this road trip, they are so bad at Coors. Even when the Brewers are good, which they have been for a number of years, they are usually no good at Coors.
  14. It's hard to say that when they average 8 runs a game in a 4 games series but the one time they faced a decent pitcher they failed miserably. I think we have seen this team can win in the regular season but for this question and winning the World Series the current offense isn't enough to win a World Series. Is it good enough to win the division, yes.
  15. I have no doubt there will be injury and performance replacements tomorrow.
  16. I sure hope not, Super 2 is an unknown date to begin with, when trying to consider the new CBA that can be August.
  17. If the Brewers need a mop up guy to eat innings it would be nice to give Yoho a shot and see if he can work his way up and gain confidence in himself and Murphy, There is a near zero chance Woodford will pitch high leverage innings in the playoffs but maybe Yoho could get there someday.
  18. I hope somebody in the media asks Murphy what their plan is with Crow, he is already at last year's innings and hardly pitched at all in 2023 or 2024.
  19. Nice job by Gasser and Patrick, not much else positive about this one. Hopefully Gasser can build on this and hold onto a starting spot until some guys come back.
  20. Priester to the 60 day IL is the easy move, he is already at that point anyways.
  21. He doesn't fill out the lineup card but no way Vaughn is the most consistent player, his spits are enormous which is counter to consistency. He is ok against RHP but not so much that he should ever be in the lineup over Bauers or Yelich.
  22. Vaughn has been pretty weak against RHP his entire career, especially for a 1B. Can't see the Brewers trading aways somebody like Bauers that is actually producing. There is a reason Vaughn sits so much. Vaughn is certainly valuable as the Brewers have had their issues agains LHP but more valuable when he has a platoon partner like Bauers.
  23. It is pretty obvious super 2 will be changing from the recent proposals so no point in trying to time that.
  24. Have to believe Rob Zastryzny will be back this weekend. Maybe keep Rodriguez tonight in case they need some innings after Crow.
