  1. I don't think anyone is upset that it is AmFam specifically, and I don't think anyone is questioning AmFam's impact in Madison and Wisconsin. I think it's more that there is change, period, or (in my case), that it's changing from something so ingrained in Milwaukee/Wisconsin culture and that goes along so great with baseball. Beer and Brewers baseball goes together like peas and carrots (Jenny...). Insurance and baseball, not so much. If the stadium was currently US Bank Field, State Farm Field, or any other financial/insurance name, I don't think people would really care (I wouldn't). It's just going from perfection to another boring corporate named stadium. I'm not mad at the Brewers. I'm not mad at Miller. I'm not mad at AmFam. This surprised me as the idea of the stadium name changing never crossed my mind. It probably should have, but it never did. I just hope the name isn't awful. Keep it short: AmFam Field. My guess is that it'll have the entire "American Family Insurance" in the name. I hope I'm wrong.
  2. Are they no longer going to find excited fans in the parking lots that are drinking Miller Lite and show them on the scoreboard? Now they’ll ask who has AmFam insurance and everyone will be like “meh”.
  3. This is exactly how I feel. If Miller Park would have been originally named after some other financial/insurance company I wouldn’t care about the change. Being named after a beer company (and one it’s such strong Milwaukee ties) and the team being the Brewers was just the best fit possible. That being said, I hope they keep the name short. “American Family Insurance Field” would be an awful name, although I’m sure everyone would just say “AmFam Field” (when they don’t say Miller Park).
  4. Lmao... I thought of this as well!
  5. FWIW, the Brewers removes the Facebook post announcing this signing.
  6. This worked. Thanks!
  7. I just realized I never received anything regarding renewing my 10-pack for 2019. The same thing happened to me last year and thankfully I realized before the cutoff date to keep your same seats. I see they need to be renewed by 12/19 this year, however I want to see the different 10-packs available. I cannot find that anywhere on brewers.com. Does anyone have the URL for the 2019 10 packs? Thanks!
  8. Yep, what a piece of human garbage.
  9. Ok, nevermind about the Red Sox looking beatable. I’ve never seen a team hit this well with two outs and runners on.
  10. The more I see in this series, the more beatable the Red Sox appear to be. This actually makes me feel worse that the Brewers didn’t make it. I thought the Red Sox would dominate either the Dodgers or the Brewers so I took solace that the Brewers couldn’t have beaten them. Now, I don’t know.
  11. I was on the third base side of the Club level for game 6 and after Machado’s last two outs he did the crotch grab towards the audience right before he got to the dugout. I assumed it didn’t make it on TV, but it was very clear what he was doing. I’m very happy the Brewers didn’t acquire this classless fool mid-season.
  12. Yep, 400 level was $225 plus $10 per ticket fee (plus the $3 per order fee) Here are all the prices: https://www.mlb.com/brewers/tickets/postseason/pricing
  13. I tried finding 4 tickets for game 3 Right at 10:00 this morning. Nothing available on the Club level and nothing in the few Loge level areas I searched for. I went with best available, which was Terrace Box.
  14. I was under the impression that people got way worse postseason tickets than their regular season tickets. For example, say they have field level for regular season and they were given terrace reserved for postseason. If you are getting similar to your regular seat then I can understand that. I knew the strips were discounted, and I intended that my scenario wouldn’t change the price (although I didn’t state that). On a separate note, I wouldn’t be surprised if they switch them to digital in the future and give you the 48-hour treatment as well.
  15. If this were the case, I would not renew my 20 game package for the first time after 25 years. That’s surprising to me. Aren’t your strips not necessarily the better seats in whatever sections they give you? Wouldn’t you rather be able to choose better seats? I could understand if you could just get the same seats you have all year, but if you are getting different seats for the postseason I’d rather be able to choose where I sit.
  16. I forwarded tickets to friends and did not get penalized If they punished you for forwarding it would be the dumbest thing ever. My four 10-pack tickets are “owned” by a group of four people (myself included). For the postseason tickets, I forwarded each ticket to the respective owner, no different than what I have to do with the physical tickets during the season. This is not reselling.
  17. In my scenario they’d have one presale for all games and they could choose any type of seat for each game. Could pick different seat types for different games, and with what imagine is a relatively low number of people that are eligible for full strips, there should be availability for the expensive seats as they would have first dibs.
  18. In my opinion they shouldn't give anyone full strips of tickets. They should have a special presale just for individuals that are eligible for full strips. Allow them to buy the number of tickets per game that they have season tickets for, and allow them to buy whatever is best available. It would be nice to offer their regular season seat, but I could see them not all being available if certain seats are reserved for media/others during the postseason. Then these individuals should not be allowed to buy any other presale tickets. I would have to think that there'd be enough selection for these individuals to get basically any category of seat for all games since they'd have first dibs. Edit: This way they could enforce the 48-hour rule for barcode delivery they put into place as well.
  19. I think part of the problem is that no one is used to this. My account rep said a couple times when I’ve called him that he wasn’t sure of how it would be since the Brewers haven’t been in this position often/lately.
  20. Yes, I was very please with the tickets I was able to buy for the Wild Card, NLDS, and NLCS being a 10-pack holder. I was able to buy Club level seats for all games (some even in the infield). That’s my go-to level. In 2011 we could only buy one game in each the NLDS and NLCS.
  21. I’m guessing there won’t be much inventory left on Monday so I’ll be stuck with the Secondary Market. I sure hope the prices on StubHub go down from the existing prices (as they are over-the-too expensive) once more tickets become available. The only thing is that this won’t be until 48 hours before game time. A lot needs to happen for any of this to matter though, so we’ll see.
  22. It’s sounding like they withheld the emails for anyone that sold their tickets, although I never received the email that supposedly went out about the earlier postseason presales. Fortunately I contacted my account rep prior to that though. I think that might have been a fluke though. Is the password for this presale your account number or something else?
  23. I am just guessing here, but my intuition is that what is left will be opened up to 20-game SSH on Saturday morning and 10-game SSH on Sunday morning. I would guess the emails for that will go out today or tomorrow. I could be completely wrong. I don’t think this will be the case. I’ve contacted my account rep multiple times (I’m sure he’s sick of me by now) to ask about WS ticket availability. He said he believed there would be a SSH presale today and then the WI presale on Monday. Then general sale at some point after that. He said there wouldn’t be a separate 10-pack presale, but I could do the WI one. This all looks to be how it is playing out. Also, I believe 20-pack holders are included in the SSH presale that is going on now. They are included in all other SSH promotions.
  24. That's nuts that they are penalizing you for reselling them. I can understand why, because you can double-dip then, but still.
  25. Thank you!!!
