No mention of the Andruw Jones deal with the Dodgers? That should have made the Top 10 for sure. I laughed when I read the Washburn deal to Seattle. To think, I was angry with the Brewers for not making a stronger run at him when he was a FA.

I'm curious what method everyone uses to do their taxes. For the 6th year in a row, I'm using TurboTax. I paid $50 for the state and federal version. That includes the Federal E-file fee, but not the state. Turbo Tax really is easy to use, but it kind of stinks to dish out $50 each and every year for the software. Has anyone filed online at the IRS' site? If so, how was the process? Anyone go to H & R Block? How much do they charge? Thanks.

I stopped at the Middleton Sonic on Wednesday night on the way to work. It was about 9:15 p.m. at night, and there was only one car in front of me at the drive-thru. My straw was also broken, and they also screwed up my order. I was halfway to Sauk City at that point and I did not feel like turning around. Where is the Sonic in West Milwaukee going? I'm guessing at the site of the old Boston Market on Miller Park Way, right? There goes my parking stall for Brewers games. I always used to park there and then walk to the game.

Both 1-800-Collect and 1-800-CALL-ATT are still around. I didn't think that anyone still called collect. I don't know who was a more annoying spokesperson for ATT, Carrot Top or David Arquette.

Let me know if this is a good strategy... Instead of jumping in first with bid butler, why not wait until the very end? For example, if one bid butler is competing against numerous single bidders, why not wait until the 25th hour of a scheduled 24 hour auction? If you jump in with your bid butler with 200 bids, wouldn't you outlast the initial bid butler who had been fighting against single bidders for the last 25 hours?

I think I was meant to live in Alaska. I don't mind this weather. I've been outside most of the day without a coat. Granted, I have long johns on underneath my work pants and 2 shirts on. Come summer, I'm the one complaining when it is 95 and humid. -
It looks like interest has gone down in this game. I'm not sure people still want to play. The next one I was going to do was the classic "Ride the elevator up to the 7th floor and then walk to the 10th" one.

So, the victim is having an affair with the fortune teller's wife. The victim goes to get his fortune told, and he receives the death card. The fortune teller draws him a map to a location where the hex can be reversed. Unbeknownst to our victim, the fortune teller rigged a bridge with explosives and blows up the bridge as the victim drives over it. Close?

Is it the victim's: daughter? wife? son? sibling? parents? coworker? neighbor? -Is the fortune teller stalking that person? -Does that person share the same feelings towards the fortune teller as he/she does with them? -Was the fortune teller working alone? -Is the victim's occupation important? Reference the bridge... -Did the fortune teller or someone working with the fortune teller, tamper with the bridge? -Was the bridge open for vehicular traffic when the accident occurred? -Was the bridge specifically for pedestrians and bicycles? -Did the bridge collapse? -Does this bridge open and close for large boats passing underneath?

Was the fortune teller dating someone close to the victim? Was this over a forbidden romance? Would the fortune teller or someone close to him gain financially by the victim's death? Did the victim disregard a sign (Road closed, bridge out, etc) that later led to his demise? Was high tide involved in the death? Had the road been washed away due to a storm? Was he going to a body of water to cleanse or remove the hex? ("You have to purify yourself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka.") Was Prince or Appolonia involved at all? =-)
