    The new loaded baked potatoes that are sold at Miller Park are awesome. I didn't have dinner prior to the ballpark and the potato filled me up.

    Does Prince have a song this year? During one AB on Sunday, it sounded like he came to the plate to the THX Audio sound effect that you hear at the start of movies.

    Anyone catch what happened in the right field bleachers towards the end of the game? I saw a ball on the field and the next thing I knew, a Cubs fan was getting tossed. On the way home, AM 620 said something about the fan trying to hit Corey Hart with the ball. Anyone see that?

    I was there too. I didn't think it was anywhere close to 50% Cubs fans. I was in section 209, and there was maybe 10% Cubs fans. All of the Cubs fans I saw were pretty well behaved. I had a filthy-mouthed Brewers fan 4 seats down from me ruining the atmosphere. He knew there were kids around but yet he kept cussing away all night. One thing that hasn't been touched on... Prince and Braun are not elite players. Do you see Pujols and Rolen striking out back to back in the 9th when the game is on the line? This is the 2nd game in a row where Prince could have tied/won the game and he struck out. I'm not saying they aren't great players, but they are not elite.

    Even better than the Slapchop commercial is watching Vince do his Shamwow commercial in Spanish. It's not dubbed, Vince is actually speaking Spanish. EDIT: Found it on Youtube.

    Doh! According to the T-Rats website, opening day has sold out for the first time in history. I procrastinated and did not buy my tickets earlier like others had told me to do.

    I haven't seen the show, just read the results. What does the WWE have to gain by HHH retaining the title? I don't get it. I also forgot to mention, Ring of Honor now has a weekly show on HDNet. Very good stuff.

    Southland Tales was a really, really, really bad movie. Really, really, really bad. On the other hand, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story does not get the attention it deserves. Funny movie.

    Bah, TNA will never be competition. I watch them pretty regularly, and I just shake my head with their storylines. I liked the old days of TNA when the X-division received top billing. I really don't need to see Kip James (Billy Gunn) and Kevin Nash on my tv screen. Nash can barely move for goodness sakes. Speaking of that, did anyone go to the GLCW show in Waukesha a few weeks back with Hall & Nash vs. Billy Gunn / Road Dogg? I heard Hall was having "issues." ECW is the only wrestling program that I Tivo on a regular basis, outside of the Lucha Libre on Galavision. ECW is more about wrestling than storylines. I am looking forward to the Tyson Kidd/Evan Bourne feud. It should be fun. As usual though, the ECW roster will get ravaged during the next WWE Draft Lottery. It does every year. Just keep Matt Striker on commentary and I will be a happy man. I forgot to mention Fire Prowrestling. I've been playing Fire Pro since Fire Prowrestling S on the Sega Saturn. I love it. For those who don't know, you can pick up Fire Pro wrestling Returns for the Playstation 2 for under $9 on Ebay. It's worth the purchase.

    I hate HHH. I think Orton will win at WM because the rumored main event at the following PPV is Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon, and HHH against Orton, Rhodes, and Dibiase. *groan* Really nothing is compelling me to buy this PPV. As usual, I think the Money in the Bank ladder match will be the best match. Matt vs. Jeff might steal the show, though. Where is Evan Bourne? How about R-Truth? Both guys are insanely over, but neither guy made the PPV. The biggest disappointment is the Jericho angle and storyline. We get Jericho against Piper, Snuka, and Steamboat. Piper and Snuka can barely move. I love Ricky Steamboat. Hopefully he delivers his deep arm drags against Jericho. It's too bad they couldn't talk Stone Cold into a match against Jericho. I would have picked up the PPV then.

    We have an 8-year old daughter and a 6-year old son. I'll be honest and say that I was a little bit disappointed when I found out our first child was a girl. I wanted a boy first. 8 years later I can say that my kids (both daughter and son) are the most important thing in my life. I'm probably a little closer to my daughter and my wife is closer to our son. My daughter is 100% daddy's girl. Think of the things you will learn because you are having a girl: -Spanish: Buenas suelte!, espera, and of course, "Swiper no swiping." -Fashion: You will learn the difference between shorts, capris, and gouchos. -Zoology: You will learn the different species of kitties, ponies, or whatever kind of animal your daughter gets into I have to disagree with the others here about smooth sailing until middle school. There is drama in elementary school. My wife read my daughter's diary (I know, I know) and my daughter put an entry on how she likes this boy, and she doesn't want to hurt her other friend's feelings because she likes him too. There are little cliques in elementary school, and lately my daughter (3rd grade) has had an obsession on who has the biggest house, nicest clothes, best things like Ipods, etc. SHE IS 8 YEARS OLD!! I wouldn't trade it for a thing.

    This is fast becoming a "Things I hate at the grocery store" thread. Let me chime in. -My #1 pet peeve is when people don't put their shopping carts back in the cart corral. Are you that lazy? -People who have conversations in the middle of the aisle, blocking it for all ot-hers who want to get around them. -Women who leave their purses sitting in their shopping cart when they walk away from it. You are just asking for it to get snatched. -People who take up 2 stalls when they park.

    Brewers made the right choice by keeping Casey over Lamb. Good to see that Lamb's contract was not a factor in the decision.

    I never thought this was rude. I do it all the time. So is everyone in line supposed to move over to the new checkout lane? What if the 3rd person doesn't want to move? What if the 2nd person already has their items out of their cart? I've had cashiers look directly at me and say, "I can help you in aisle 6." That's when I was the last person in line. I don't think it is rude at all.

    Do I have a problem with the officer drawing his gun when a bunch of people jumped out of an SUV after failing to stop? Absolutely not. There were 4 Oakland Police Department officers buried yesterday after a traffic stop gone bad. That suspect got out of his vehicle and opened fire on the officers. How was this officer to know initially why the vehicle was not stopping? Do I have a problem with pretty much everything else the officer did? Yes, I do. The officer should have taken Moats' license and allowed him to go inside with the rest of his family. If Moats was suspended/revoked/wanted, he could have dealt with that later.

    Is there a legitimate chance of the T-Rats selling out opening day? Right now, I am going with at least 2 friends, but the group could grow to as many as 7 people. I really don't want to buy tix ahead of time and end up with 3 or 4 extras. Thoughts?

    I have no problems with anyone who wears their favorite baseball, basketball, or football player's jersey. However, I mock anyone who I see wearing a Lance Armstrong jersey while out for a bike ride. As I drive past, I'll use an Adam Sandler voice and say, "Look at meeeeee. I'm Lance Armstrong." Complete double standard, I know.

    He was my first Brewers man-crush, but I think in a few years we can pencil in Hernan Irribarren at 2b. He was hitting close to .500 in rookie ball, and I remember getting caught up in the hype. I made a special trip to Beloit just to catch his first game at the A level. Unfortunately, I don't think he will turn out to be the star prospect as first thought.
