1. Agreed. Some people are acting like Melvin unplugged his phone months ago and has been playing Angry Birds Seasons since then. Mike Adams just signed for 6 mil a year. 6 MILLION! I'm glad we aren't overspending.
2. It's not a Wisconsin lake per se, but my favorite place in the world is Lake Superior. I went to college in Superior, met my wife up there, and have so many fantastic memories. I could sit along the shore for hours and simply listen to the waves crash on the beach. I find myself often looking at real estate sites for vacant lakefront property knowing I'll probably never have enough money to build my dream home.
3. Iron? Machete? Both great choices. This is awesome in so many ways. I can understand why some people hate the Briscoe Brothers, but I find their schtick entertaining. They cut some of the best promos in the business.
4. I imagine Brad Maddox will be involved in the stable as well. Roman Reigns doesn't really fit in, though. He looks like a million bucks, but he is sub-par in the ring. EDIT: To clarify, you've got Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins who are both really good workers, but small in size. Neither have the cookie cutter look that WWE loves so much. Reigns is the opposite. He has a fantastic look. He reminds me of a young Rock. However, he doesn't have anywhere near the wrestling or mic skills The Rock had after a couple years in the business. Either way, WWE has me interested again. I'll probably DVR Raw for the first time in about a year. I'm curious about the motive for the attack on Ryback. The most common theory I've read is that Ambrose, Rollins, and Reigns are jealous Ryback made it out of WWE Developmental purgatory.
5. If I understood last week's episode, everyone was under the assumption Carol was dead. In the preview for this week's show, it looks like the crew discovers that Carol may not be dead. I came across this meme and thought it was fantastic. http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a128/ChicagoProWrestlingMessageBoard/GZTJX.jpg
6. NXT is the only WWE show I go out of the way to watch on a regular basis. On a related note, the WWE is staying on top of removing footage from Youtube. Rarely will NXT episodes last more than a day or two before they are taken down. They are a little slower with dailymotion. You mentioned Bray Wyatt. I wanted to post the different promos/vignettes produced by the students at Full Sail, but they have all been removed. Bray Wyatt returned to NXT this week. He was a "manager" of Brodie Lee, who now goes by Luke Harper. Hopefully he makes the WWE roster soon. It bothers me that the creative team hasn't come up with anything for Dean Ambrose yet. His storyline/angle with Mick Foley would have been great, but Mick backed out.
7. I really didn't understand the zombie head thing either. That was not in the comics. In one of the previous episodes, they made sure to spend extra time on the family photo featuring the Governor, his wife, and daughter. In addition, they showed the scientist doing research on the decapitated heads of Michonne's pet zombies, so I think at least one comic storyline involving the Governor will be covered in the show. In the comics, the Governor committed a series of terrible acts towards Michonne. It was way too violent for television. Based on what we have seen so far, I think they will have some sort of confrontation. I have one question about the last episode. Do we know for sure Carol is dead? They found her scarf, but I thought it was T-Dog's body being consumed by the walkers.
8. You made a crack about his weight. Did you mean to put El Gordo Blanco?
9. Wow! That was an amazing episode. Great drama.
10. I hope they don't stretch out the impending child birth too long, especially considering the latest developments with Herschel.
11. Found an animated .gif of the kick... http://i.imgur.com/i9fuR.gif The Miz is tough. He ended up wrestling a 20 minute match against Kofi at the Smackdown/Main Event taping a day after taking that kick.
12. Oh my! I think Kofi just legit knocked out The Miz with that Trouble in Paradise kick.
13. That's been the rule in high school football for a number of years. As soon as the kickoff enters the end zone, it's an automatic touchback. I haven't seen the same thing in college football although they are doing all they can to avoid the head injuries that so often occur during kickoffs. Last season they eliminated wedges on kick returns and this season touchbacks now start at the 25 yard line. That rule has been around in college for years, you just almost never see guys not catch the kickoff. In college ball, returners can bring it out of the end zone if they choose to. I recall the playoff game last year between Wofford and Northern Iowa when the Wofford player caught the kickoff in the endzone and simply dropped the ball without downing it. Northern Iowa jumped on the ball and scored the eventual game deciding touchdown. If that was high school ball, the play would have been blown dead as soon as the kickoff broke the plane of the endzone.

15. I apologize if this violates any of the board rules, but the CM Punk documentary has been uploaded to Youtube in its entirety. Amazing documentary. Hopefully Ring of Honor will get a little boost from the documentary. I still plan on purchasing the Blu-Ray version for the extra features.
16. It's bugging me that Taco Bell has not released the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos taco nationwide yet. I'm not a fan of Taco Bell's regular tacos, but I could probably eat 10 Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos tacos in one sitting.
17. You should be happy it didn't say, "If u hire me, u r going to to be happy u did. LMK." My wife works in HR and she receives letters of interest and emails from candidates with text talk on a regular basis.
18. My wife took a tour of Miller Park as part of a work outing yesterday. She had a good tour guide and really enjoyed it. If she wanted to go down Bernie's slide, it was an extra $100. She made it out onto the warning track, but was not allowed to walk on the grass. She got to see the visitor's clubhouse and dugout, but not the Brewers. Also included in the tour was a walk-through of the press box, press conference area, and radio broadcast booth.
19. I'm a big fan. The podcast has helped me pass many slow hours at work. My favorites are both Cliff Compton episodes and probably the Sean Waltman one.
20. I was the contestant for the Brewers Radio Network 3 bagger in the 3rd contest. I thought I would have a shot with Gomez, Nyjer, and Rickie getting ABs but no luck.
21. Randy ended his Brewer career with a 29-32 regular season record. He took the ball every 5th day and never made excuses about his poor outings. Plus, his pitching performance against the Cardinals in last year's NLCS was about the only bright spot in the entire series. Thanks Randy.
22. I had a great time at the Chikara show on Friday night. Outside of Wrestlemania 22, this was the most fun I've ever had at a live wrestling show. The crowd was loud and energetic all night. Great wrestling mixed with great comedy. If Chikara comes back, they need to pick a bigger venue. The Miramar Theater is tiny, and it was packed. Fans up front learned quickly to get out of their seat because many of the wrestlers ended up in the front row after dives to the outside.
23. Even with his Tommy John surgery this year, I think Austin Ross definitely deserves a spot on the Brewers Top 50 list.
24. Greg Gagne, Jim Brunzell, and Baron Von Raschke were on Bob and Brian last week promoting their appearance at the State Fair. The interview is on their podcast page and also available on ITunes. It's a fun listen. Baron is in his 70s, yet he is still very quick-witted and very funny.
25. Whenever I try to jump to a shorter line, I always seem to get behind a shopper who needs a price check. It's kinda like the opening scene in Office Space when Peter repeatedly switched lanes only to get stuck behind the slow moving vehicles.
