I realize people like to vent and I am not defending the collapse or anything but if any one of those three horse hooey calls had not been called on the Packers D after the failed 4th down attempt, I bet they win. Now, you still have to man up and overcome that but if the opponent knows you have to throw that O Line is not going to hold up against Sisters of the Poor much less the Vikings.

I was wondering if Love took that himself.

I'm not saying no one should ever complain about anything but I do think it's human nature to "scan for danger" and look for flaws instead of seeing the good stuff. We can nitpick this that or the other thing on this team but at the end of the day they have the best record in baseball and the best run differential. Are they built for the playoffs? I dunno. I think they'll need the power to continue once the post-season starts and the pitching to hold up but that isn't as much about decision-making as it is fate and/or roster construction.

This OLine is squarely on Gute. He didn't learn how to draft O Linemen from Ted apparently.

Joey's gonna mess around and end up with an 800 OPS for the season. I'm kidding...or am I?

A few mod notes for today: 1 - if you see a post you think crosses the line, please report it 2 - do not respond to a post you have reported. It makes thread clean-up a pain. 3 - do not respond to a post you think crosses the line when the post has nothing to do with you. This exacerbates things and makes thread clean-up a pain. Report it instead. 4 - we will be quick with the temp bans today and probably into next week. 5 - "Be excellent to each other" - William S. Preston, Esq As a reminder, here are the Community Rules & Guidelines

I think Murphy likes Sal too much to keep him off the playoff roster.
