    La Sirena in Ephraim, Door County. Fantastic elevated Mexican food. It was three courses plus optional dessert. Pricey but delicious. Don't go expecting supper club portions.

    Stenavich was O Line coach for three seasons. The first two years the O Line was all Ted Thompson guys except Jenkins in year one and Jenkins/Billy Turner in year two. The third season added Royce Newman and Jon Runyan.

    I can't tell how much is Gute and how much is coaching. I'll settle for 60/40 split.

    re Vlad Guerrero Jr right elbow injury in May, back tightness in June, a hamstring injury in late July into early August, and a concussion in mid-August. Will he SLG 500 next year? Dunno. But he was dinged up most of the year.

    I was talking to a restaurant owner in Door County and they said they recently had trouble getting plastic utensils due to diesel costs. I have no idea how those two things relate.

    I am mildly concerned about Penix at QB. Not that I think he's good or anything but maybe has a chip on his injured shoulders and can perform like an athlete for a game before turning back into a pumpkin.
