  1. this team hasn't figured out how to prepare for a road game
  2. best tight end in the league and they just decide not to cover him in the red zone....twice
  3. oh man they needed that
  4. yeah that was a bad call
  5. I was thinking the same thing. That kick may end up saving the season. We shall see
  6. I read this ref crew has issued the most penalties per game this year. Makes sense.
  7. Jacobs is a game-time decision. Trey McBride might see 20 targets for AZ today.
  8. Hitting 3 home runs in a game is "good". I agree with that.
  9. how can a guy have a 973 OPS and have zero production? He can't help it if there's no one in base when he bats.
  10. Fickell is good at losing by less.
  11. what did his sinker average in September? I'd be curious to know if it started to tail off before the playoffs.
  12. Freddy, Preister, Miz, Gasser, Henderson, Patrick, Myers - is a pretty solid, albeit young, group. I don't know if they'll have innings limits on the guys coming back from injury but I'd imagine if all those guys are still with the organization, they will all get starts at one point or another. I think they'll sign a vet to add some depth. Then you have Letson, Hardin, Crow, who may get looks in the bigs depending on how their seasons go.
  13. I think they'll keep Freddy and take the draft pick compensation. Guys with one year left on their deals haven't been bringing all that much in trades. Obviously it only takes one goofy owner to change that though (and that goofy owner could be Attanasio)
  14. Someone (I think it was @adambr2) in the game thread said that risk is more for 2027 than 2026
  15. I would blame the salary differential but the Cubs spent $45 million more than the Brewers and that didnt help them.
  16. I dunno...they had a bye the first round of the playoffs
  17. It'd be fun to have another home game at least.
  18. Season is over so considering locking the thread. Will consult with other mods.
  19. 100% bubble screens! I'd be money.
  20. Maybe Flacco has too
  21. it's a tough loss. people are going to get emotional.
