Really could have used an OSU upset over Michigan on Sunday. Gonna be tough to catch them w 6 games to go after they beat us and have two fewer losses. I'm assuming head-to-head is the first tiebreaker. UM does have a tough schedule to finish out though (MSU twice) so there's a chance.

We got rid of Peacock a few weeks ago. My wife wanted it back so I renewed it and they offered us a year for $30. I did something similar with Paramount as well. I ordered it through Amazon but getting to Paramount through the Amazon app is annoying so I was planning to cancel and reorder through Paramount itself. When I went to cancel they offered me two months for 99 cents each. Moral of the story is to cancel before they auto renew you and then sign up again at a cheaper rate.

Looks like UW has the easiest remaining schedule of the top 4 teams in the Big. They could sneak into a 3 seed if they beat either Purdue or MSU and take care of things against the rest of their opponents.

I think most people here are resigned to the fact that the disparities in baseball make it impossible for the Brewers to spend a significant amount of additional money. If people want to go for broke on a player that's fine, but if it doesn't pan out that probably means a non-competitive team for a solid 4 - 5 years. At some point, they'll get the timing right with the prospects and have stellar starting pitching and offense at the same time. To date, it seems it's one or the other. I have faith they will always figure out a way to build a good bullpen.
