  1. grind them into submission!
  2. who was saying that? I do think the injuries on D are going to be really hard to overcome. They'll have to score their way to the super bowl. I think Philly is a bit better right now overall.
  3. They can afford it. They choose not to spend it. I think it's a good deal for them even if it is a one year rental.
  4. "That guy was a bum! Why didn't we get more in return for a bum?"
  5. Durbin broke his wrist last spring. Maybe explains the low exit velocity? From Fangraphs:
  6. no GM is going to look at 2 and 1/3 innings of playoff performances
  7. Cortes is due to make $8.3 million for those scoring at home. Williams was due to make $8.4 million. Antuhnaseo is a cheep ass!
  8. I was surprised how good his AA/AAA numbers were.
  9. When the Packers get rid of guys, we should probably consider that the reason might not be financial.
  10. doesn't this rain in the Rams Niners game know I have two guys in the fantasy playoffs???
  11. Trech reverses course and decides to stay at UW
  12. I watched end of first Q and all of 2nd Q. Bucks had a lot of issues stopping the dribble drive. I know Dame isn't all that good on D but it wasn't just him. Guys were blowing past the guards like they weren't even there. And if Giannis isn't in there they don't have much down low other than Brook. Stats may prove me wrong but Brook doesn't seem like the rim protector he once was. AJ Green actually looked pretty good on D.
  13. O&H Kringle is 1000x better than Racine Danish Kringle.
  14. I think with technology you could get things like first downs/touchdowns, foot out of bounds, where the ball is spotted, etc worked out (some combination of GPS and sensors in the equipment) to the point you wouldn't need replay for those types of situations. Catch/Not a catch, fumbles, etc. might be more difficult. The issue nowadays is that the cameras are so much better than years ago that everything looks worse. Also back in the day you had less stuff to call because they didn't give a rip about player safety. I'm all for getting rid of anything that is subjective as long as it doesn't mean a guy getting his head ripped off.
  15. Cubs and Yankees are the two teams I've seen in the rumor mill.
  16. Yeah I think Tucker is going to get an extension to whatever team trades for him. And that extension will be for a lot of money.
  17. Rumored to be on the market. What would it take to get him? A lot.
  18. Please tone down the condescension—particularly the sentence in boldface.
  19. they lost by 3 on a last second field goal on the road. I don't think they need to be perfect to beat them.
  20. UW hiring Kansas OC https://www.buckys5thquarter.com/2024/12/6/24315215/breaking-wisconsin-badgers-hire-kansas-jayhawks-oc-jeff-grimes-as-school-next-offensive-coordinator
  21. One could make a pretty good argument that the reason the Lions won is because Campbell was more willing to go for it on 4th down all game. Yeah it didn't work once and gave GB a short field but GB had quite a few midfield punts that could have been conversion attempts.
  22. watch Malik Willis tape from last year. He might be the best coach in the league.
