  1. His stats and stuff are irrelevant if he can’t stay healthy. And he can’t. . I think there's a difference between he "can't" stay healthy and he "hasn't" stayed healthy. Unless someone can give me an example of a guy who had lat and/or non-blister finger issues throughout his career I think Thor is worth the risk.
  2. Ray is on one of his heaters - another home run today. 3 in his last 4 games now.
  3. 3rd year is not guaranteed
  4. What are his warts other than an injuries not to his elbow or shoulder?
  5. Because of Syndergaard's injuries, he can potentially be had for less than top value. And his injuries have never been to his elbow or his shoulder (biceps tendonitis for which he never went on DL, torn lat, and finger which is probably a fluke). He makes a ton more sense to me than DeGrom. Not 100% sure on this but I don't think lat issues are chronic.
  6. He comes back when he comes back. Understandable people get frustrated about it.
  7. But I'm Kevin Durant. I am Ron Mexico
  8. Aguilar is good He is the best we have now MVP today
  9. It's a play on "relish"....at least it should be.
  10. They might trade Thames but it will be during the off season. I think Aguilar is here to stay.
  11. I think if they do call him up that August would be a good time to do so.
  12. I think if he was hitting nothing but singles there might some validity to the overhyped theory but he's a doubles machine. And as for walk rate, I think it's about the same as Braun's was for the first 2 - 3 seasons of his career.
  13. You can pull from a Roth IRA for a first time home purchase I think.
  14. I don't know why, but I really like this kid. Maybe because he has a cool name.
  15. I think if they just use a pitch clock, a "between innings" clock, and a "mid inning pitching change" clock and actually enforce them a lot of this goes away.
  16. Solo's biggest issue was that they fired the original directors midway through filming and replaced them with the most boring director working today in Ron Howard. I haven't seen it yet and will probably rent it but when studios meddle like that it's nearly impossible to release something that resembles a great movie.
  17. Taylor Williams has been pretty darn good this year.
  18. Carl County Stadium Mike Minute Maid Tommy Tropicana
  19. You know when you retaliate? When you clinch a playoff spot.
  20. I think I bought a term life insurance policy from Miles Mikolas: http://a.espncdn.com/combiner/i?img=/i/headshots/mlb/players/full/32116.png&w=350&h=254
  21. When you know a guy is going to hit a home run please let me know ahead of time.
  22. I think they are just pitching inside and suck at it.
  23. In this day and age, why is purposely throwing a potentially harmful object at someone at a near 100 mph speed still considered to be an acceptable baseball 'thing'? If you did that anywhere but on a baseball field, you'd be arrested for assault. Right but you could say the same thing about sacking a quarterback or hacking a guy on an open layup.
