  1. I use it almost daily. Works fine for me. The subscription really just gives you automatic updates instead of having to buy a new version every year. The software itself isn't web based so it runs just as fast as usual.
  2. Me and FatterthanJoey used to go in there during blowouts and just shoot the breeze between the two of us. That guy was hilarious. I think he moved to Tennessee...his son is kind of stud baseball player I believe.
  3. Yup....and scoring is down in college hoops this year making it all the more impressive. UK is also the best defensive team in KenPom history.
  4. GET PADDLED We had a drunk thread for a while. Anyone that posted said they were getting "GP'd". I miss all the guys that have gotten banned. Namely Hoffy and bjamesw22
  5. Wow, that's shocking. I guess if you hang around a board long enough something like this is bound to happen but there's no way you're prepared for it. My thoughts are with his family. He seemed like a great guy.
  6. I don't believe you.
  7. I was going to post almost that exact same thing.
  8. UK can be beat and I think UW can beat them. It would take a good game shooting from beyond the arc, but it's not like they'd have to shoot 15 of 20.
  9. That region sucks. I have a feeling some no-name will emerge. I like your other three picks though. I want to pick UW over UK, but UW has such a hard road to even get to the final four that I can't justify it.
  10. Dustin Johnson is going to have a huge year.
  11. I agree. I really don't care when they play UK. I'm not interested in a Final Four appearance. I want UW to win the whole damn thing. If that means beating UK in the Elite 8 instead of the last game so be it.
  12. Wisconsin is good.
  13. They were most likely a playoff team that might have won three games in their first series. Now they are a playoff team that might win a game in their first series.
  14. I think that was an aberration.
  15. All this winning still wasn't bringing people out. We're still 27th in the league in attendance. Still averaging less than 15K per game. Deviating from the plan to win one extra playoff series isn't a good idea. It doesn't matter how much the Bucks win I have no plans to go to any games. I just hate going downtown. If I was given free tickets in the upper level I wouldn't take them. If I was given free tickets on the floor level I might go, but that's what it would take. The Bucks winning has led me to look at their box score each game though. Really? What's the big deal about downtown Milwaukee?
  16. Sanders checked himself into a hospital. Either he's really willing to go to great lengths to dupe the Bucks into giving him $19million or he's actually battling mental illness.
  17. What a great young man. Looking forward to seeing what he can do this year. OT:Danan Hughes! Heckuva wide receiver for Iowa back in the day. Looks like he hasn't aged a day (he's in hid mid 40's).
  18. I mean will UW be a Final Four caliber team next year? Doubtful. But they'll still be top 4 in the B1G and be like a 4 seed in the tourney. Koenig and Hayes could both be All B1G. I'm guessing Happ and Hill both contribute significantly. Brown will likely improve. There will be a drop off but it's not like UW will be bad or anything. And if they get Stone? Who knows.
  19. They should just have Pitch/fx call balls and strikes and use the home plate ump for everything else he normally does during a game.
  20. I thought I read somewhere that there are a lot of contracts like this one. I could be wrong about that.
  21. Basketball analytics have also shown how valuable it is to take care of the basketball and get to the free throw line.
  22. I would guess that most .500 teams beat bad teams and lose to good teams.
  23. 19 inches here in Chicago. My car won't be moving for a while.
  24. Blue Ruin Whoa. Unexpectedly awesome indy revenge flick. Macon Blair plays Dwight, a homeless man, who is picked up by police not for committing a petty crime, but to relay news to him about a person from Dwight's past. I won't give too much away about the plot but it's obvious from Dwight's actions that he's preparing for a violent conflict. Written, directed, and shot by Jeremy Saulnier, this is a taught film that stressed me out the entire way. The lead actor is not typical of most men in revenge films (ala Liam Neeson). He has an everyman quality that leads one to believe he could screw up everything at a moment's notice. It certainly adds to the tension. Highly recommend. Several graphic, violent death scenes for those that are into that kind of thing - plus Jan from the Brady Bunch and the annoying older brother in Home Alone make cameos. Available on Netflix instant
  25. Um, what? I'll give the attorney the benefit of the doubt and guess that he/she thinks massive heart attack is considered "unforeseen". Otherwise....weird.
