Oh and there's a bar in Key Largo where they filmed the Humphrey Bogart movie "Key Largo". Caribbean Club I think it's called. So watch that movie and then go see the bar.

You can see the actual boat used in the African Queen. It's docked in Key Largo. Free to look at it. It will take you about 15 minutes (including time to park).

I think it's patently obvious that the odds of Braun winning the Triple Crown are slim to minimal to miniscule. This is a fun thread - not a serious one........for now http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Too early to get one started? No! As of April 25: Braun currently has eight homers, 20 RBI and is batting .378. He's currently fourth in the National League in hitting, first in homers, second in RBI ( and first in runs scored. He's also second in slugging at .707 and third in walks with 16.)

Fielder has good feet and he's quick than you'd think but he's not a good fielder. I suppose if he just had to get to the base he'd be a good defensive player but he has to catch and scoop the ball too.

So does that mean the fans are classy and Ryan Franklin is NOT classy? Or are the fans not classy and Ryan Franklin IS classy. I need Tony Larussa to explain this.

Khris Davis has some serious power. I hope he can be fast tracked. Any chance he moves to 1st base? Brewers are sort of set at the corner outfield positions for a few years.

He needs someone to pull him aside and teach him how to act like a responsible human being.

As much as I dislike the Bulls, I will have to admit that watching Derrick Rose in crunch time is very entertaining. And he has two or three "How did he do that?" drives to the hoop every game. And I LOVED watching the Bucks last year. They were so unselfish, always making the extra pass to the open man, playing good defense.....

The sac bunts in the 2nd inning get my dander up.

People said Milwaukee wasn't a baseball city in the 90's.

No. I believe my original review was: The Human Centipede Yikes. It is good for some laughs but if you're a gore junky it's not all that gory and its certainly not all that scary. I found the idea of Human Centipede more disgusting than the actual film itself. The pooping scene is hysterical. "Feed her! FEED HER!"

I remember Rob Picciolo very well. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

You could argue that Weeks has already cooled down. He's 6 for his last 27. If he had started out that way people would have been screaming for his head.

I'm not sold on Morgan as an every day player. I'd rather he platoon and only face righties (which will still give him the bulk of the starts).
  16. homer
I disagree. I think he's awesome at everything.
  17. homer
Basically he sucks at everything --------- Sigh.

But then wouldn't it cease to be unwritten? And as we all know, the fact that they are unwritten rules is half the fun. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Jennings is only 21 and missed a big chunk of the season. I would give him one more year to prove himself.

What was the score when Davey Lopes went off on Rickey Henderson? EDIT: It was 12 - 5 in the 7th. http://www.usatoday.com/s...ike/2001-07-31-lopes.htm

Let's not forget that Lucroy was supposed to be in AAA all last season. He was pushed because of Zaun's injury. I have faith that he'll be a solid defender and at least an average offensive player over his career. I like him over both catchers at this point.

It's supposed to be 80 tomorrow here in Chicago. My body might go into shock.

For some reason, the MiLB profile of Nick Shaw has him as a left handed thrower. That would make turning two especially difficult http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif http://web.minorleaguebas...=t572&t=p_pbp&pid=594587

    I'm up to 8, 6, 4 on chin ups. Yay me. I will have a celebratory beer when I can do 10, 8, 6.
