  1. My favorite site feature. Thanks in advance!
  2. They are two totally different pitchers. One has a ceiling of a mid rotation starter, the other is a middle relief guy at best.
  3. Maybe this isn't what you want, but here's yesterdays game: http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/gameday/index.jsp?gid=2011_04_06_atlmlb_milmlb_1&mode=gameday You have to click on the Summary button on the bottom and then you can see each pitch to each batter (including pitch type, speed, etc.). You can also watch video of all the scoring plays.
  4. I wonder if the board is Duck Hunt compatible?Big Buck Hunter beats the crap out of Duck Hunt.
  5. I think it's important to note that P90X will increase strength and you will lose weight. BUT....you probably won't gain the same strength as you would doing a low volume, high intensity type workout. I would counter that you will lose more weight doing P90X than the other workout though. It all depends on what your workout goals are. If all you want to do is lose weight, build up your cardio endurance, and firm up your body then a program like P90X or Insanity are perfectly fine. But if you want to bulk up you should look at doing something else with more weight resistance and higher intensity (as southpaw suggests). Wasn't sure if that was totally clear to everyone so I thought I'd summarize. I have a B.S. in exercise physiology so I have a little knowledge on the subject (very little...since I got the degree 15 years ago and didn't do much with it).
  6. The beginning of the end. Ha! No kidding. It's really addictive. Once you get that first shallow depth of field shot that looks like something out of a real magazine you're hooked.
  7. Actually the place to go before the games is the parking lot. If you want the true Brewer fans experience you should tailgate. But if you can't do that, then all the above mentioned bars are fine. Maybe start off at McGinn's and head east and bar hop along the way. Take the shuttle from Kelly's Bleacher's.
  8. American Pie - Don McLean Yeah that's right. I said Don McLean.
  9. He says he's committed to getting on base this year. That's pretty much his whole focus is OBP. We shall see....
  10. Gettin' Better - Tesla Yeah, that's right. I said Tesla.
  11. I really doubt JJ would come back as long as Melvin is GM
  12. Agreed (even though alll four number one seeds getting to the Final Four has only happened once). I'm rooting hard for VCU.
  13. I have noticed a significant increase in speed with Firefox 4.0 After reading this thread, I realize I am not utilizing 1% of its capabilities. I didn't know you could do so much with a browser.
  14. I think I saw one scorpion the 4 + years I lived in Phoenix. And it was about half an inch long.
  15. I don't think anyone disputes that (maybe somewhere in the thread but I didn't see it). The point about pace is that is really doesn't matter. It's just used to calculate the efficiency numbers.
  16. Nice pics, EDR. I bought a Canon T2i about six months ago. I have used it almost exclusively for video so far (shot several shorts for school with it) and love the picture. Just starting to get into lenses and what not.
  17. Badgers missed a TON of open looks where the Butler defense was a step late. And I can't give Butler credit for all the turnovers either since most were self imposed. I will give them credit for playing hard, getting after the boards, and hustling. They beat the Badgers to almost every loose ball and for that they are to be commended.
  18. I recommend it for no other reason than you will never see another movie like it. Dropping some acid beforehand might help enhance the experience http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Some of my other recent Netflix rentals: Monsters Super low budget sci fi by Gareth Edwards. He wrote it. He directed it. He was director of photography. And he did all the CGI. Talk about a one man show. Its sort of a District 9 type film where a group of walking octopi looking aliens are segregated into a large area in Northern Mexico (called the Infected Zone in the movie). An American journalist must accompany his billionaire boss's daughter across the border and as you would expect they fall for each other while dodging monsters. Touches on some social an political topics (the US has built a giant wall along the southern border to keep out the aliens) as well. On the whole it moves pretty slowly and there aren't enough encounters with the monsters to satisfy. The ending was weak too. But given the budget (which I believe was under $1 million) it's pretty decent. Mother Korean film about a mentally challenged man who is accused of killing a young girl. His mother staunchly believes in his innocence and sets out to prove it. Some stunning cinematography and decent script make this worth a rental. Mugabe and the White African Documentary about a white farmer in Zimbabwe who is being forced off the land he's owned for 30 years by dictator Robert Mugabe. Really interesting story about a country I knew basically nothing about. Mugabe is not a nice guy. Seven Days Not for the faint of heart, this French Canadian movie is about a surgeon whose daughter is raped and murdered. They catch the guy through DNA evidence and just before he goes to trial the surgeon kidnaps him. Here's where the fun begins! He takes him to a remote cabin, shackles him up, and tortures him repeatedly for seven days. It's brutal stuff and not for the squeamish. However, the movie was more than a snuff film. The larger themes were about loss and how different people deal with it. The main cop in the movie lost his wife to a botched robbery and acts as the conscience of the surgeon. As with Mother, some really good cinematography in this one as well.
  19. I thought the Badgers (in particular Leuer and Nankivil) played really soft tonight. Butler just wanted it more. Too bad as this game was ripe for the taking. The most frustrating thing is that the whole country saw one of UW's bottom three games of the year thus perpetuating the myth that they can't score. Man, those turnovers were brutal. Can't really argue with anyone who says they choked given the fact that they haven't looked that bad all year in terms of taking care of the ball. Not impressed with Butler at all. Florida should roll.
  20. As far as the rumor I've heard about Buzz it relates to that guard that was kicked off the team a few years ago but was then let back on (can't remember his name). The reason he was let back on was because the kid was going to blow the whistle on some unsavory activities the whole team was involved in. Again, just a rumor I heard.
  21. Robert, Have you ever seen one of Gaspar Noe's films? I recently watched Irreversible and Enter the Void and while I can't say that either is a "great" movie they were both very unique and I thought a lot about them afterwards. Just curious if you had an opinion.
  22. Anyone watch First Take on ESPN? They were ragging on UW's offense saying "They might need OT to get to 60!". I suppose they don't realize that UW is averaging 71 a game in the tourney and only went below 60 points 5 times all season.
  23. Yeah it's not like he cheated and then came clean. he lied about it after he got caught. And the pics of him and the coeds probably wouldn't go over too well with the people at MU.
