  1. I'm worried Redd's knee will take a toll not only on his already less than stellar D but on his lift on his jumpers too. Hopefully not - they need some production from the 2.
  2. This may sound odd but I thought there were some noteworthy comedic performances in The Big Lebowski....Jeff Bridges was brilliant in that movie.
  3. I think Dustin Hoffman was nominated for Tootsie. Not sure if that's the same thing or not.
  4. The Happy Youngster will not be pleased.
  5. Who questioned your validity? If you had said to us what you said to McCalvy no one would care. But you went out of your way to say the rumor was bogus when it was anything but. Frankly, I don't think you offer much to this board that we don't get elsewhere so your threat of not posting for a while rings sort of hollow.
  6. Yep, I thought the same thing.Does the NBA test for steroids? If not I bet a ton of guys use them. Dwight Howard looks like he was made in a giant shoulder person factory.
  7. Lopez or Bogut could have played power forward depending on the matchup. There's no rule that says 7 foot guys have to play center.
  8. So are you saying his quotes in the Scout.com article were fabricated?
  9. If it's a bogus rumor, Agent, you might want to dissuade your client from discussing it with the newspapers as if it's not a bogus rumor.
  10. I would take Brook Lopez over Joe Alexander http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  11. Anderson is awful? He's the #14 center in the country. And besides...it's not where you start out it's where you end up. That Duje guy from Deerfield, IL had a big time growth spurt and only recently became a hot recruit. He can dribble, shoot from the outside, drive the lane, and pass. He will be a good one. Gasser is questionable, but after Diamond Taylor screwed up UW had a scholarship to fill and had to give it to someone.
  12. I just about died the three seconds Creed was on screen. Other than that.....the most I can say is that Erin is nice to look at.
  13. The attendance will come. I think most people wait until a team beats someone decent (and let's face it, to date their signature win was against Detroit) before they start to really take notice. With Jennings getting some pub the seats will fill as long as they stay competitive. I never thought the Bucks would have the best defense in the league.....at any point in the season.
  14. Just imagine how good he'll be when he takes care of the ball a little better. I love that little guy.
  15. I love these interviews Todd. Good job. Hopefully we can find that clip for Junior.
  16. I'd take a gamble on harden for the right price although I have a feeling someone is going to give him a lot more than I'd want the Brewers to risk.
  17. Sosa's a burn victim?
  18. Melvin uses both stats and scouting reports....unlike some people.
  19. There's a restaurant called L'Etoile. Never been there but have heard great things: http://www.letoile-restaurant.com/
  20. The two freshman guards from last year, Robert Wilson and Jordan Taylor, should make good progress. Wilson has the ability to drive the lane and finish which I think was missing from their offense last year. Ryan Evans is a redshirt freshman this year that is really athletic from all accounts but very raw. He played very well against Bemidji (12 pts) but I believe his range is limited so any scoring he does will be off rebounds and layups. His calling card will be on the defensive end. One thing to note is the Badgers are very deep this year. They don't have a "star" but they can play 9 legit guys and maybe 10 or 11 if a few make improvements.
  21. There is! They used to serve a St. Louis dog at Great America years ago and it was a hot dog with BBQ sauce, shredded cheddar cheese and bacon bits. It ruled.
  22. Could go a number of different ways with Bucky. I can see them as a bubble team when March rolls around. They just aren't athletic or physical enough down low to be much more than that in my opinion. Of course, some guy always comes out of the woodwork to contribute for them so maybe a guy like Evans can help in that regard. In any event, I love watching them play - it's like old time hockey....except basketball.
  23. Yeah, you can see flashes with him. I think he's another one that just needs to be on the floor and get experience. I've already decided this team is not going to win more than 30 - 35 games (if they're lucky). Might as well play guys with a future and see if they can reach their potential. Of course, the other side of that is you can't showcase veterans for trades but I guess I don't see the point of showcasing crap. It just reveals how crappy it is.
  24. I saw a headline that said "LeMoyne stuns 'Cuse" and thought it was some guy named LeMoyne that had hit a three or something.
  25. I wish he would just let Meeks play and take his lumps.
