For some reason, UW decided to play run and gun with Marquette. Didn't work out so well. But even so, had UW made their free throws they win that game.
The key to eating fast food is to:1) never look at it closely 2) never question where it came from\ 3) never watch the cooks make it If you can avoid these three things, fast food can be a fun and enjoyable experience for the whole family.
Someone posted his home/road splits in another thread and they are pretty drastic. He could have a nice year for the Cards. Here they are (thanks to Danzig): 2007 Home--.670 OPS Road--.840 OPS 2006 Home--.628 OPS Road--.863 OPS 2005 Home--.684 OPS Road--.772 OPS
DMB is an interesting case. If Dave himself quit music or passed away or whatever then obviously it's not Dave Matthews Band any more. But if the bassist left the group it wouldn't matter. Now you could make a strong argument that the drummer and violinist are strong pieces to the DMB puzzle - maybe their musicianship could be replaced (although I think the drummer is really underrated) but they seem to be part of the character of that band - especially the violinist. I mean, if the violinist left and was replaced by a woman would it be the same? I don't think so.
There was a pretty heated debate around here when the Bucks signed Gadz over Zaza. Most people felt that Gadz provided more defense which is probably true but they weren't banking on the fact that thats' ALL he would provide.....ever.
Wow that was an entertaining game tonight. That Vassallo guy was simply en fuego. I think the Badgers will be a much better team in March than they are now simply because those freshman guards will have some experience under their belts. Nice to see Bohannon find his stroke tonight.
There are certain guys that are the heart and soul of a band - McCartney and Lennon, Tyler and Smith, Plant and Paige, Jagger and Richards, etc. Take one away and the 'band' ceases to exist. In GnR's case it's Slash. Without him, it just isn't GnR.
Anyone know how accurate theses systems can be? I've never looked it up, but I've heard from some die hard pectoa people that they are surprisingly accurate.
So does that mean there is a potential video game about the destruction of Milwaukee? I'd like to see Milwaukee in a video game - it'd be kinda cool to blow up city hall.
Well everything was filmed in New York (there's a shot of Bleeker St.) and none of the businesses or bars/restaurants actually exist. So it's either someone's attempt at a funny video or a joke by someone that hates Milwaukee.
Everyone gets antsy about non moves this time of year. But in the grand scheme of things there have only been two or three major moves this off season - NY trades for Swisher, Cubs re-sign Dempster...and ??? I'm sure I'm missing one or two. Things won't heat up until December.
The problem is that there are only so many story lines in a stereotypical office. At some point you need to involve the characters personal lives. I haven't gone back and watched seasons one or two in a while but I wonder if some of the appeal was the freshness of the show at the time. Would those seasons still be as funny to me now?
