    Vegas only cares that the betting is even on both sides of a team - i.e. same number of people are betting for and against you. In the Rockies case, as they got hot more people started betting on them so Vegas lowered the payout to reduce the number of people betting for them and increase the number betting against them.

    Is it just me, or does it seem like West Virginia never hits any homers? I swear they get 12 hits per game - 10 singles and 2 doubles.

    If one were inclined to try and pursue a job in web design and one did not really want to go back to school, what would be the best way to go about doing it? What are the basic software packages, languages a web designer should be familiar with? My friend Taint McFadden thanks you in advance.

    ARam is in a horrible slump too. After lighting it up in April/May he hit .791 OPS in June and is currently .734 OPS in July.

    You are certainly entitled to your opinion. I think it's more perception than reality but to each his own. In any case, the hall of fame itself doesn't seem to want to clarify the issue.     I think people see 'projection' and think 'prediction'. Even the guy who came up with Marcels had this disclaimer: Note: I do not stand behind these forecasts. These forecasts are the minimum level of competence that you should expect from any forecaster. Do not attach my name to these forecasts in any kind of evaluation experiment.
