I can't remember a time when the Power 50 was so evenly distributed among the top 4 levels. 9 or 10 at each level and 5 or 6 top 25 at each level. It's also strange to see Cain, Fermaint, and Gillespie as the top 3 outfielders now.
What about Gamel's defense? The error rate seems to have dropped way down over the past month or so. Is his defense getting better? He only has 2 more errors than Braun now.
Has Crabbe finally awoken from his 2 year long slumber? He's up to .252 now. At the beginning of the season, who would have guessed that Huntsville would be the team to watch in the second half? And a catcher with a .411 OBP? Looking forward to watching Bouchie move up the chain.
Ford yes, but I wouldn't lump Cain in there yet. As the recent Cain article mentioned, he hasn't been playing ball for that long. His walk to K ratio isn't that bad, which I think is as useful as straight k's.
or deal Lee, it'll be a race between him and Xis who posts first.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif I guess we know who won that race. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
he's got to be re-added to the 40 man.. He is still on the 40 man as far as I know. Not sure why he's not on the Brewerfan roster, but I don't think he was removed.

I think it's looking more likely that West Virginia won't re-up with the Brewers. They've got a new stadium and great fan support, but the teams haven't done that well. That 5-25 start last year was killer and the second half this year has been disappointing. And given that there doesn't appear to be a whole lot on the rookie teams that will help them next year, I could see the Power looking elsewhere.
The Nashville roster now lists Barnwell and no longer lists Ozzie Chavez. Hunstville doesn't show any changes yet, but Chavez would appear to be headed back there.

Eure starting at SS tonight? Is there anything he can't do? He's been hitting pretty well lately, as well. Is he the next Vinny Rottino super-sub? And is Crew turning himself into a prospect? It was kind of surprising when he was bumped up to Brevard County and even more so that he's doing very well (over .300 now). And he's playing every day, so the Brewers must think highly of him. Not bad for a 40th rounder.
Jinxed or another case for not drafting high school pitchers in the first round? And weren't there injury concerns about Rogers because he threw across his body? That's why they've been revamping his mechanics. Hopefully it's minor, but not altogether surprising.

I'm also a big Michael Brantley fan, but I have to admit that I only noticed yesterday his average was up over .280--now it's at .291. Good to see he's likely made some adjustments over the season. I believe he was recovering from an injury to start the season and it affected his swing. That's why he got off to a slow start.
Looks like the Sheets of old. Has trouble making it out of the first inning with 2 hits, a walk, a wild pitch, and 2 runs. Then he strikes out the side in the second.
