    Andre Dawson should definitely be in the HoF. Magical numbers like 3,000 and 500 not withstanding he put up some great numbers. He was very feared. I can't wait to see what other 80s OFers you do number comparisons to. I'd like to see how he stacks up to Rice for comparisons sake, and Dale Murphy (who I have a soft spot for, but probably shouldn't be in).

    I like that Ned used Turnbow here. Bring in scrubs to face the bottom of the order. Let Turnbow throw gas and give us a chance to win it.

    I'll take my chances with Branyan putting a run on the board, over Magruder batting LH (or at all for that matter) ever. But yeah, Branyan is hurting, he's not going to PH in a game where we are up by 2. So I'm sure this is also why Helms didn't PH. You know, if the game goes 13 innings you may need Helms. I'm just sick of Magruder, hitting, ever, period. I realize his ABs don't matter in the scheme of things, but I'd rather have a guy there that can hit the ball over the wall and play some D if he's just going to get an AB here and there.

    So somebody pointed out Ohka was laboring after one inning, I haven't seen anything yet myself . . . but my guess is that Yost leaves him in 3 innings too long.

    Crew wins . . . 6-3. I garauntee it. 3 runs off Clemens, 3 off the bullpen. I can almost assure you all of Houston's runs will come by way of the HR. Probably 3 solo shots off Ohka.

    I went back through the play by play for that game . . . The first two innings were killed by double play balls. We had Hudson in trouble but Weeks grounded into a DP right away in the first, and Moeller in the second. We had 2, three up, three down innings. However, we did "line out" three times. Which tells me we were hitting the ball well, just right at people. I don't think he's the type of pitcher that gives us trouble. We just need to do more with the gifts (walks) that he dishes out instead of GIDP. I think we'll hammer out a bunch of runs. 8-5 is my prediction with our bullpen giving up a 3 run shot.
