  1. That is fantastic First and third lines are longer Than the second one
  2. I have a picture from a Pump N Munch in Minnesota somewhere. I had to take a picture because I didn't think anyone would believe me.
  3. No conversations Supposed to be haiku night No socializing Totally kidding You can talk all you want dudes Time to grab a beer Counting on fingers Just how many syllables Are necessary
  4. On the page with the article, right below the title of the article is the writer's name. Click it. Better yet, don't. I think this guy probably already got inundated with emails about this article. The points illustrated by SeriesFinale and TH were right on the button. No need to pile on. Sometimes writers write articles like this to get attention. If that is the case here, it is working.
  5. Tom Gorzelanny You are the best baby seal Of all friggin time
  6. I got a ticket in Nebraska for 84 in a 75, somewhere along that long boring stretch that is basically the entire state. Nebraska is one of 7 states that I've gotten a speeding ticket in. Also Wisconsin, Illinois, Texas, Florida, California, and South Dakota. Ouch.
  7. So basically stay away from chain restaurants is what you are saying? Ruby Tuesdays, Cheesecake Factory and Applebees are all over the country. I'm not saying that makes them good, just saying they're not exactly Wisconsin restaurants.
  8. A lot of people bring up the assumption that because Hardy would move to 3B, he would somehow forget how to play SS and lose any and all value he had while he did play that position. I don't see any reason why Hardy wouldn't be able to make the switch back to SS if he were ever traded, thus putting in to question any loss of value a position switch would portend.
  9. Jeffress is the youngest on the team, Periard is the third youngest, and Salome is the fifth youngest. Definitely a youthful group coming from the Brewers camp.
  10. I liked the part last night where the Brewers scored a lot of runs and the Cardinals really didn't. No, they really didn't at all. I liked that part. Let's do that again.
  11. Spread Eagle is a sovereign nation in the vast Himalayas. Also, Djibouti.
  12. There are parking structures, but no real good tailgate area that I remember.
  13. Sparta is also a city, in Greece.
  14. Berlin is a city.
  15. I always use the VLC Player. It comes with all the codecs ready to go, and is pretty lightweight.
  16. link From the article: The right-hander has a fastball that tops out at about 40 mph. He throws so hard that the Youth Baseball League of New Haven told his coach that the boy could not pitch any more. When Jericho took the mound anyway last week, the opposing team forfeited the game, packed its gear and left, his coach said. I think this is ridiculous. Let the kid play.
  17. That's why I said it's part of enjoying the ride.
  18. For some, crunching numbers is part of enjoying the ride. I find the numbers interesting to contemplate and discuss.
  19. If anybody really knew who it was going to be definitively, the player would have already been dealt. Why risk letting that player get hurt while playing for the Milwaukee's teams if Cleveland already knows who they want? As soon as Cleveland knows who they want, they will let it be known.
  20. How does being a member of a team make you involved with the ownership of another team? Not quite sure I agree with this. By that logic, Eddie Mathews, Joe Torre, Felipe Alou, etc were all involved too.
  21. The first sentence in the original post says 1992 Dream Team versus 2008 Redeem Team.
  22. Bird was cooked by 1992. He was in 'laydownonthesideline" mode if you remember the end of his career at all.
  23. 6 months does not a TV lifetime make...just sayin.
  24. When making a big purchase like that, I personally would never buy a refurbished model. Keep in mind that it is refurbished because it has already failed. Sure it has been fixed, but it is very possible that it will fail again soon.
  25. Stockton was actually just coming off a broken leg when he played for the Dream Team. Between Paul, Williams and Kidd, I think the new team has an edge at the point. Even if you wanted Magic at the point, he was already retired and hadn't really played in over a year.
