  1. Little boxes, on the hillside Little boxes made of ticky-tacky, Little boxes, little boxes, Little boxes, all the same.
  2. Am I seeing things or did Ben Jeffers really have 7 Ks in 2 2/3 IP for AZ?
  3. Same as above, but I'm only about 700 miles closer.
  4. A few years back, my mom's dogs killed some unfortunate little animal in the backyard, bigger than a squirrel, about the size of a house cat. Too bad we didn't see it. It was underneath some bushes, lying there decomposing. It must have been there a few days, you could smell it when you turned on to my mom's street. By the time I was elected chairman of the removal committee, it was a dead bag of maggots. I just about threw up all over the place while I was scooping said bag into a shovel. Threw it in a big garbage bin and took it to the dump. Goodbye bag of maggots. Man that was horrible.
  5. I really liked Pittsburgh too, all the bridges throughout the city makes for an interesting landscape. Coming through the tunnel on whatever highway that is, when it opens up to downtown is just awesome.
  6. Yeah, the Bucks have two Olympians right now, that constitutes a little fame in my opinion.
  7. The beach in Cabo is pretty nice, just try to hit it when there is NOT a hurricane there. The city I would most want to move to in the US would be San Diego. Absolutely love the weather there as long as you don't go too far inland. The Florida Keys are kind of a dump in my opinion, but they are nice for a little getaway. The Pacific Northwest is absolutely gorgeous, I love the modern style of downtown Vancouver, and Whistler is an awesome little town. Driving through the Smoky Mountains in the Southeast is pretty cool, nice scenery. Niagara Falls is really a sight to behold, especially from the Canadian side. It's up there with Mount Rushmore and the Grand Canyon. I love the hustle and bustle of Manhattan, it's just insane how much is going on around you at all times. The VLA (Very Large Array) in New Mexico is a cool place to check out if you are a space geek like me. Parks like Yosemite, Sequoia, and Yellowstone are must sees for anyone who loves the great outdoors. Jamaica was cool, granted I never left the resort other than to go to the airport. I live in Las Vegas so it has kind of lost that awesomeness that you get when you fly in to town for vacation, but there are no complaints from me about a lack of stuff to do. I'm forgetting a lot of places...man I almost miss my 100% travel job now, although at the time it was really a pain in the butt.
  8. We had one of these a few years ago, but I guess we are due for a new one. As for bullox, no, it is not BULL OX. It is a different spelling of bollocks, which is a British slang term that can be used in several ways. It can mean awesome, nuts, or BS, amongst other things. Back when online poker was fully legal I used this handle and it was somewhat fitting. Either I had the nuts or I was BS'ing. I am kind of sick of this handle now, but the name is almost 5 years in to Brewerfan and I can't bring myself to create a new account.
  9. Because no matter what, the Brewers are going to have picks in the 2009 draft. Talking about the playoffs now is almost like talking about a no-hitter in the 7th inning.
  10. What did you guys think about my interview?
  11. images.google.com http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  12. I will never date a woman who smokes. I don't care if it's Adriana Lima. Possibly due to the little thing called ratings.
  13. Alright I'll play along. 1. Adriana Lima - she's so perfect that it's like she's not even real. 2. Jessica Alba 3. Kate Beckinsale 4. Heidi Klum 5. Every other hot chick I'm forgetting right now.
  14. Wow - Prince is really showing leadership right now - while Yost was walking up to Bush on the mound, you could read Prince's lips (talking to Yost) while he was nodding yes: "One more, one more." Yost looked like he was looking at Prince just as much as Bush during the visit to the mound, it almost seemed like Prince was the one leading in that visit. Awesome. edit: And Bush gets out of it. Double awesome.
  15. Not sure if they showed this on the Milwaukee broadcast, but the Cinci broadcast showed Parra being one of the first guys in the dugout to congratulate Prince with a fist bump when he came in after hitting the dinger. Prince then gave Parra a nice little double slap on the cheek, like a grandpa would to a grandson or something like that. It seems like all is well between the two.
  16. Man, the first crack of the bat in that youtube video is just THWACK. Solid.
  17. What happened between Ned and the buck is going to be handled in the family.
  18. What they also didn't tell you is that they were hiding out on Prince Fielder's back. Last night Prince did what he could to shake them off. I can see why he would be so stressed out.
  19. It obviously happened because Branyan was at bat; the dugout was all out of whack with the demigod out of reach. Seriously though, this is not the type of emotion this team needs for a spark. When Braun called out the team to the press earlier in the year - that is a good example of a way to get a team fired up. This is not.
  20. Don't forget Hall, Capuano, and Suppan...
  21. 1. Braun 2. Yo 3. Sheets 4. CC 5. Fielder
  22. 4 questions is more than 2/3 of your 22 question questionnaire? Interesting math.
  23. You shouldn't believe it, because it was mentioned above. There is a link to the interview in post #71 above.
