    I was not a big fan right away but i have grown to like him. But i was also one who was said to see Darren go. Hopefully He'll stay with the brewers long enough to be one of favorite's next to uke!

    Glad to see him out of a job if only for a time being. Where ever he goes it's most likely going to be the american league and as a DH. I know that the Yankees are building more from the farm system now but he would look great as there DH and i could see them taking a 10-16 million dollar flyer on him!

    Wow i really don't think Bruan is overrated. Sure they help each other but Bruan could carry a team. He would be the franchise player in 3 years on most teams.

    Let me just say that this is the most interesting thread that I think I have ever read on brewerfan.net. It does do a great job of putting a different perspective of getting dumped... I love it... Great job!

    I would say he is the least likely of the brewer's pitchers to find him self on the trading block. I would love to see him stay in milwaukee and do what he is doing now. Even if he is only good down the stretch we could do worse. I like what he brings to the team and in the club house.

    I am thinking Rangers for him. They seem to never know what to do.. Pay players then slash payroll. He seems perfect for a spend now team.

    Yeah there is no way i would want any part of Abreu in Milwaukee. I would just stay pat with cappy and hope that next year he is fine. This lets hope could just be a bump in the road!

    Hurricane Dean is now a cat. 5 and looks to be getting stronger as it nears land.

    Well from looking at past forecasts it looks like the are slowly moving it more and more in to the gulf of mexico. simple formula the longer it spends in the gulf the worst it's going to be for whoever gets hit. I am hoping that it stays away from the U.S. but who ever gets hit is going to be in for a world of hurt and my prays are with them.

    I heard on the news that they are thinking that it will be a strong cat. 4 when it nears the Yucatan Pen. and there is a possiblity that it will be a cat. 5. Hopefully it just does not re enter the gulf. We don't need any damage to those refineries down there.

    Man this game was a staple in elementary school and as i think back it was actually a reward to get to play it if we got our typing program done. ahhh the memories.

    I just don't think at this time it's a good idea to take out Hart. He's slumping sure but so is the whole team. Give him some time and he'll have that avg. back over .300.

    Hey man, i am in the same boat. I am from kenosha and I just graduated from Whitewater with a degree in health, human performance and recreation with minors in health and coaching. I have went on many interviews and just in the end they go in a different direction. You just got to keep your head up and that's what i am trying to do. Just a little plug if anyone knows of any job leads for me let me know lol.

    I have always been in the camp that the triple is one of the hardiest things to accomplish in the game.

    Money Ball was an interesting read. There is also a good book about scouts and dontrelle willis although i don't know the name of the book.

    It's hard to find something positive so far but at least we can fall back on that this team is young and at least in my mind should compete for the division title if not the world series title for at least the next 6 years. This while it sucks right now is going to be a good thing and next year maybe we will just run away with the division as i don't think there are any other teams that are going to improve like we will over the years. GO BREWERS!
