Well looks like the cards are picking up where they left off last night. I am wondering if Gallardo is suffering from a dead arm? He seems to be giving batting practice. Hopefuly that is not the case.

I am hoping that there is some sort of either RP/SP out there that the brewers can get cheap. But then again the sept. 1st call up could solve alot of our problems in house.

Yeah there is no way i see Doug selling low on Hall. I am pretty sure that in 08 you will still be seeing Hall patrolling the green grass of miller park. However if i were to trade him it would not be to S.D. I would be looking for a package that wowed me and helped us on the mlb level as well as helping in restocking the minors. But just don't see a package like that coming along.

I am simply at a loss as to why Hart would be sitting. Hopefully this is not going to hurt us as much as I feel it is. Hopefully Gallardo bounces back from that performace the last time and the brewers can put together a string of innings with crooked numbers and hold the cardinals offense down. Did not take ned long to put gross in to the lineup! But he's been raking in AAA so maybe that will correspond to tonite aganst Pinero!

I really still think this team is going to be ok. Someone has to win the division and both the cubs and brewers are doing there best to let the cards steal it!

I really would like the Madison idea. Another city that i thought of was green bay? Would that work? I think it would be nice to have a triple A ball club in the state..

I don't like the idea of sending off Hall or Cappy at all. I am sure if we put them in a package we'd get more then you had. Overall though i like that you are thinking ahead. I like the idea of trying to get either cordero or linebrink. However i would not go as high as you did especially with Linebrink as signs are pointing that he could be on a down turn.

He might get a little more playing time with the dbacks at least he will be in a playoff hunt. Also karma with the pick up of kim?
  9. princeginterhallhelms04
Yeah i think that he could be in line for a break. Don't know how much i really like the ideal of Council and graffy both playing but if that spell gives hardy a faster bat and better hitting down the stretch i could live with it.

And another good thing is that he's a whole lot cheaper!

With the mets having to face El Duque, John Maine, and Tom Glavine i would hope that the Mets could win 2 out of 3. I am really a big fan of Maine and usually switch over to watch that kid pitch. I really hope Glavine gets his 300th aganst the cubs. The Mets to me looked like they were coming out of there troubles during are series which can only mean a huge off. explosion aganst the cubs. Could be high scoring as it's going to be hot and the winds should be blowing out.. GO METS!

Phillies seem to be of the mindset of throwing something aganst the wall and hoping it sticks. There pitching is in need of help and maybe Lohse can help. Either way did not give up much and got to love the old college try.

I would hope the brewers would at leat kick the tires on him. I would not mind having him on the bench or in triple a. But i am assuming he does not have any options left.
  14. princeginterhallhelms04
Wigginton will be better then the 3 sacker the Astros had. I fully expect them to get rid of Ensberg soon! I also don't get the trade.
  15. princeginterhallhelms04
I was upset with Coco yesterday but no way would i trade him. Hopefully this team can turn it around and he's going to be a huge part of our success if we make it to the playoffs.
  16. princeginterhallhelms04
I guess i don't get trading Murton for Payton. I would have just stuck with Murton but what do i know. Wonder who the prospects will be.
  17. princeginterhallhelms04
I really don't know what to say with a 6-0 lead you have to win the game. I really thought we had this one in the books only to watch it fade away..
  18. princeginterhallhelms04
Well at least with that linebrink trade we have options now. I can't believe that i am actually starting to think this team would be better having turnbow close it out. Either way CoCo should be on a short leash. What does everyone think of Linebrink closing?
  19. princeginterhallhelms04
Yeah kind of glad we did not take that trade last year. Reyes is like 0-10 this year and never really lived up to the hype. Like Duncan but that would just be adding to the log jam in the OF.
  20. princeginterhallhelms04
As much as the cubs are not giving Pie enough playing time. In no way are they ready to move him. They really only have pagan to back up in CF unless they want to move Soriano back to Center and i can't see that happening any time soon.
  21. princeginterhallhelms04
Shane Victorino is not going to go anywhere? The philies are trying to make the post season and he's a big part of it i would think. I could see them trading Burrell (sp) if the right deal came along.
  22. princeginterhallhelms04
I am a matt murton fan and think he would be great in the GAP (Great American Ball Park) He gives you a good at bat, has some pop and plays ok defense. Actually would not mind the brewers having him.
  23. princeginterhallhelms04
I guess i would be interested in Ryan Church a little depending on what the Nats would want back. I know we have a surplus of OF's but i would rather have him on our bench then gross.
  24. princeginterhallhelms04
Heard a rumor that the Redsox might make a move for him. I think they need to make some kind of move and getting Teixeira would be great. That would be a heck of a lineup.
  25. princeginterhallhelms04
I thought it was quite stupid! But it's just something to help get people to watch SC during the summer, i guess baseball and basketball trade rumors arn't enough.
