    Well, they're getting guys on and making Slowey work. If they keep doing that the runs will follow. It'd be nice if Suppan could limit the Twins (especially with Hunter out now) to a run or two the rest of the way.

    I think the conclusion that should be drawn with Hall is that he was going to start hitting again no matter what, because he is a good hitter. It didn't have anything to do with where he was in the lineup, he was just in a slump. But people who need to have a cut and dried cause and effect for every single thing that happens in baseball can't seem to believe that simple fact. Just like the fact that the Brewers were bound to start playing better. There were fans in the chat room saying they were the worst team in the NL.

    I think someone else might have mentioned him recently (maybe JoeHova), but Jonny Gomes has become my new Mench replacement lately. The guy gets pretty much zero playing time in Tampa Bay, and he mashes LHP's. He can't field a lick, though.

    I'm glad Ned and Doug made all those changes when the team was slumping! That's obviously been the reason for the better play, they didn't just sit back.

    Uh-oh... The "Bush is a 6 Inning Pitcher" people are going to become the "Bush is a 5 Inning Pitcher" people.

    Yeah, I'm thinking that it's going to pretty much just be general admission everywhere. That's ends up being a good thing for me, since I bought two tickets, and then suddenly needed to come up with a third.

    Gillespie is going to be a starting corner OF for the Brewers by 2009, I would bank on that. Brevard is really supressing his offense, and once he goes to AA I think he will take off. He's much more than a nugget, he's a prospect.

    I was on right at 10, and waited close to 20 minutes. I finally got to the point to buy tickets, and all that's left is lawn seats. I think I'm going to pass. EDIT: I said screw it and bought the stupid lawn seats. If I decide I don't want to go, I'll put them up in the Trading Post forum in the future.

    www.havahart.com/ Get one of their traps, catch and relase the racoons. You can find these traps at a lot of stores pretty easily. They're definitely not an animal you want hanging around your property. A lot of them end up contracting rabies, also, and they can be pretty mean animals. Not to mention they love digging in garbage.

    I wonder what would be thought of that trade now, HAD it gone through... Well, it's basically Fielder for Verlander, Shelton's nothing of consequence, and Logan is just flat-out terrible (a bottom five hitter in all of MLB, most likely). I'd rather have Fielder. Besides, it's not like Verlander was a nobody... he was a 1st round pick, and at the time you proposed that deal, he probably couldn't even have been traded yet.
