I am starting to get the feeling that whatever they get for Greinke will be very underwhelming.

Ziggler is the best worker in the company at doing the WWE style. He's amazing and he's been the best for almost a year now, in my opinion. The fact that they botched him so terribly is why I quit watching it aside from streaming the PPV's. He was nothing but a jobber for months on end, because nobody takes an opponent's finishing move better than he does. They did a great job of making me not care about the best guy they have.

Well, yeah, they have to get Cena involved in it.

They at least reminded everyone that he's still a loser when they had him get kicked in the face right away. He'll be the first MITB winner to lose.

One of these times someone is going to accept that deal! They are just going to keep offering it to anyone and everyone and one of these days...

Yeah, pretty much looked like Ben Sheets to me.

Five scoreless. Looking really good so far.

Anyone else going to see ROH tonight at Turner Hall? Support the little guys that actually work hard in the ring!

Alright, being that I am a Ben Sheets fanboy, I want to pick him up for his start this Sunday. I'm in a 14 team mixed league - would you drop Travis Wood for him? There's a couple of big Braves fans in the league, so I kind of want to act quickly before someone grabs him.

    IT IS DISCUSSION WORTHY!

What a magical year 2002 was.

This thread is awesome. I loved any thread that ripped on TGJ back in the day.

The TNA show last night was just awesome. They have had three extremely good PPV's in a row and this one was the best of the three.

Not to mention that you would think the amount of times he has walked pretty much demonstrates that his strike zone is clearly not two home plates wide.
  15. brettac1
Results aren't the most important things for minor league players, though. Especially pitchers.

The worst part is when it only drops to 80 at night. I don't care much about the daytime temps, but the overnights are the worst.

    It's completely atrocious.

I probably consider that incident the low point of Fielder's time in Milwaukee. I didn't see it as leadership, just a guy being a complete jerk.
  19. brettac1
Hope he makes it back up. Nothing but love for the guy.

The Nyjer Morgan one with the spray-painted look to it is pretty awful.
  21. brettac1
Yeah, I read that. It'd definitely be a great way to make Punk look like an indy geek to put him in the same ring as The Rock, if that's the goal.
  22. brettac1
I'd prefer if they kept them apart and kept on the Punk/Bryan feud. Then they can revisit it when it's time to turn Punk back to heel.

I actually enjoy Sutton, but I think it's because I was probably more immersed in the Brewers when he was the announcer than I have been in any other time of my life. I definitely think BA is a far better baseball announcer and enjoy his work a ton, but I have nostalgia for Sutton.
  24. brettac1
    I'd do that one.

They have a show at Turner Hall in a few weeks. Doesn't get any more HD than that. I definitely agree with the issues over their production values, but I watch VHS rips of old wrestling all the time, so I don't need everything to be "sports entertainment".
