    I believe a squeeze plays odds are, 57% of the time, it works all the time. haha. But seriously I would love to know our avg success rate for that on the year.

    I believe the squeeze has worked more than twice but I could be wrong. I feel like it's been a great play for them. I'd love to know the stats on it for us this season.

    Yes, this staff has been more than I could even dreamed it would be. I mean I thought they'd be good but this is tremendous. It pains me to think about our starters last year. Man were we terrible. Kudos to DM for bringing in K Rod, he's really made this bullpen a great group. It just set them up to have so much more success.

    Since it is only one pitcher that requests George I'm completely cool with it. Wolf has pitched great with him behind the dish so let's leave it be. Speaking from experience, when you pitch and you have a catcher that doesn't get you, it can quickly frustrate you and get you off your rythm. When you have a guy that calls your game and that you can trust, you don't even have to think out there. It's not just pitch calling, there are tons of other little things that make a pitcher have more confidence in a catcher. You would think as professionals they could figure it out, but hey, don't fix it if it aint broke.

    Do your thing Wolf! Am I way off on this.....Hasn't Wolf been really solid against his old mates? I did not look this up, just going on memory..which fails me often.

    Gamel can not come up to the majors and play in the OF. That might work in a video game but it won't work in the majors. He needs time to learn the position.

    For all the backup players going on here, I kind of like it. Start the series off right boys! I agree on Prince, he does not need any rest, he's a beast.

    I will still be nervous until we actually clinch this thing. That being said, I think a win tonight does wonders to crush the Cards confidence quite a bit and probably boost ours even more. But we have already had some big wins against them here the last week so I'm sure our confidence is already building even with a loss today.

    Yep, it's time to really crush these guys when they are down a little bit. Got to keep them down there because there is a lot of time left. That being said, I'm hoping this staff (my same hope from before the season) keeps us from big losing streaks. Before, when we relied mainly on offense, we were more likely to have large losing streaks.
