    I am out of market so watch the games on MLB.tv. I always do the WTMJ audio overlay! It's so great to listen to the radio! Of course that is not an option today with only the HOU broadcast available.

    Any word on Gamel today yet? I'm guessing they are just being safe and having him rest today and then day off tomorrow so he's all good on Friday. Well I hope that's the case at least! Let's get the sweep today. Always enjoy some afternoon baseball!

    On a side note, I just watched the highlight of GoGo's HR (I fell asleep prior). That may have been the fastest trip around the bags on a HR EVER!!!! Hahaha. Got a kick out of it. All he does is go!

    He screwed up yesterday, and that happens. My first reaction was, this guy seems to not "get it" at times. I then kind of chilled out on it. But now I'm becoming a bit worried about this contract. Someone said it yesterday and again on this thread, but I'm now kind of in the boat of wishing we went with Green and JHJ. That's kind of a win win situation. Now I do think ARam will come around and have a good season at the plate. I also think that he's an upgrade from what we had in Casey. I'm just hoping he really does care about winning and he just appears to be out of it at times.

    Another solid win and great to see the Cubs pull off the win vs the Cards last night. Get after them now today. Love me some afternoon baseball.

    Ya those three need to start stepping up and I'm confident they will. ARam is notorious for starting slow so I'm giving him a break. I also agree that I think this team will be fine. We have some guys stepping up now and helping this team out, we just need our studs to get back to being what they usually are.

    http://www.obriensnyc.com/ O'Brien's Pub is a pretty solid place. It's super laid back and very friendly. It's a great place to escape the crazyness of time square, even though it's just right around the corner. If you like the laid back irish pub type places, I highly recomend this spot. I have not been there late at night but during the afternoon/ early eve, it's a perfect setup.

    I have to say that I'm officially on board with Block. I said before that there is something about his voice that is so calming. I was just listening to the end of tonight's game and was thinking that I really am enjoying this. Then we got the walk off and it just sealed it for me. He just sounds so professional and so smoothe. I know some of you aren't on board with how monotone he is but I am really digging it. He's got an old school feel to him.

    Anyone have any suggestions for a good starter bike to buy? I'm looking for something that I would use on the road or paths mainly but I'd like the ability to still go off road with it. Nothing crazy but I know I don't want a road bike.

    I don't think you should ever have to chase a recruiter. In a company like that, where all they care about is placing someone, if you fit what their looking for, they'll be all over you. If he hasn't called you back, I'd guess he either filled it or doesn't actually think you would get hired. And an earlier poster above hit it right on, these guys are judged every day on phone calls and time on the phone, so he could have just been making a dial. I think the other issue with these big companies is the person trying to fill the position is not the person talking to the employer (usually) so they just have a brief description of what is wanted.

    Loving the O's old school looking hat with the white front! I think so many teams can barrow from their past and ditch the modern style logos that so many teams are still going with. Do little things to spice them up maybe, but I feel like so many teams had it right. I know we've talked about this on here before but I would love the old ball and glove hat for the brewers but with the modern colors. That would be soo cool. Fo the record, I do like the hats we have now. Not to get way off topic but same goes for NFL. Broncos and Pats should go back to their old ones too!

    Do you think they tabled talks because they were so far apart that there was no reason to keep talking? I hope not but I'm just trying to keep my expectations low so that I don't get too excited.

    Too Live Brew - Nice bump! I woke up this morning and thought, I should fire up that old Gamel thread to see what people are thinking so far. Good work! He just looks good right now. I think he will still have a few growing pains this year but overall should even out to be a solid hitter. He's got a lot of experience for being a first time full time player, so I think that helps him. I'm just really enjoying watching him so far. Fun stuff.
