Morgan is pre-arb. He's under team control for 3 years after this season. He didn't get to The Bigs until he was like 28 or so. -
Four game sets are tough to win. Especially with a really good team like the Braves. Way to get things going in the right direction Crew!

I'll just settle for a new avatar.

Fixed it.Touche. A good SS in slow motion at least throws the ball on target and doesn't rely on the first baseman to bail him out.
-
Watching Yuni play SS is like watching a good SS in slow motion.

As tough as the start of this season has been for Brewers fans, the Red Sox are now 0-6. They just got swept by the Indians who beat them today 1-0 (scoring on a squeeze play in the 8th). How fantastic!
-
About as hard as 160 pounder can (ie. not very). McCann never really had the ball. Braves announcers aren't all that impressed with the target we've placed on McCann though.
-
He looks very uncertain at the plate. Even in his walk yesterday you could tell he wasn't seeing the ball well. I agree - he could use a day off. Braun definitely looked happy with that one. He probably feels he should have a couple more long balls already.
-
GoGo was really close to getting caught there a couple times. Good to see Braun back to crushing those fat ones.

A 4-seamer. This article might interest you (written before the 2010 season). Manny's FB is BY FAR his worst pitch - in fact the rest of his arsenal is quite good. One would think that a fastball would be the easiest pitch to correct, but what do I know?

Reading through the comments on MLBtv's user forum is kind of sad. Has anyone had any success streaming with Roku either this year or last? I feel like I'm going to have to either buy another computer or a Roku/AppleTV/PS3 if I want to avoid computer fights with the fiancee.

Is Estrada still wearing #15? Maybe he can channel Ben Sheets and strike out 18 Braves tonight.

Not always pretty with Gomez. One more from the Cardiaxman!
-
As much as Votto can hurt you, a walk was the last thing I wanted there. Groundball please!
-
Do you have a link that says he put on 15 lbs of muscle? Because I have one that says he put on 5 lbs on muscle. He hardly looks like the same guy? Your trying really hard to make something of nothing here.
-
Loe made Phillips look just silly. edit: Not so much Votto
-
Back-to-back HRs to start the game, a blown call by the ump and now a balk (that gave us a run!). It's been an entertaining opening day so far.
-
How come? Too big? I don't like the flames that come up for a 95 mph heater, but it gives all the necessary info. for me.
-
Yeah, that's what Gabe Kapler is up to these days, shelling out HGH to current players (that don't need it). Not sure why you would even go there.
-
NO edit: That's what Yo needed. Nice job Rickie!
-
Killin me ump!
-
YoGa looks thin.
