This is the first time I've thought to watch the game on MLBtv while listening to the WTMJ broadcast on Gameday. When Bob is doing the play-by-play it matches up perfectly, but Corey is clearly a little quicker on the call. HA! Castro checking his glove for holes I think!

Weeks 4 Gomez 8 Braun 7 Fielder 3 McGehee 5 Hart 9 Betancourt 6 Lucroy 2 Gallardo 1 Can't say that I'm all that surprised that Gomez remains in the 2-hole. Hopefully just until Corey gets comfortable, but I have my doubts. Glad McGehee is back in there - he's been hitting pretty well the last 2 weeks or so.

This game actually starts at 12:10 pm. Seems strange to start so early. I don't remember them having home games at noon before, but there are a few on the schedule. Time for Yo to get right and take the series! Go Crew!

Note: No sarcasm intended here: Why don't we just look at wOBA and be done with it? Isn't wOBA thought of as the rate statistic du jour to evaluate a hitter? Braun owns a career .398 wOBA and Prince a career .389 wOBA. I'd call that a near wash. If we remove this years small sample of stats (since they are both off to unsustainable starts) and Prince's rookie season and just look at 2007-2010 (i.e. when they were both in the big leagues) Braun has a .394 wOBA and Prince a 0.397 wOBA.

Is Quade instructing his players to simply strike out on 3 pitches when they are down by an apparent insurmountable deficit? How dare they go up there, when the game is so clearly over, and try and mount a comeback? One of our players could get injured or, worse yet, get their feelings hurt.

Tough break for NarvDawg. Impressive we were able to get 3 off of Lee and chase him after six innings. I had the game on in the background while in the office. Rock mentioned a play a couple of times where Weeks wasn't hustling. It wasn't clear if he meant offensively or defensively. Anyone know what he was talking about?

MLBTR mentions that the Brewers could be looking to upgrade from Yuni B at some point this season, but its all speculation.

It's strange that this wasn't reported better though. I was driving up to Wisconsin Friday night and had Uecker on the radio. They talked to RRR pre-game and Ron came right out and said Morgan had a bruise and wouldn't be available to play the field. I haven't read TH's or McCalvy's blog the last several days, but I assume neither reported it. -
The moral dilemma on whether to return unordered merchandise. We ordered a gift for a friend on Target's web site in January. The item came and shipped right away no problem. Yesterday we received the item again. Our credit card wasn't charged and clearly Target just screwed up on this one. Legally, they screwed up and we can keep the item, but morally we should notify them and ship it back I suppose. With Target's return policy I could print out the receipt, return it to the store and pocket $60. What to do, what to do....

RRR probably didn't like the idea of having GoGo, Plush and CC all in the same lineup, but Nyjer should have gotten the nod over GoGo if that's the case. Oh well, let's go get em anyway!

Just watched the condensed game on MLBtv. This was a fun one. Great to see Braun and Prince with multiple extra base hit AND taking the ball to the opposite field. What more can be said about T. Plush?!? Loved the BANG sound the OF wall made when he caught that deep fly ball off Soriano's bat in the 2nd. Narveson was absolutely sick. Hope can keep up the dominance and command throughout the season. Casey McGehee badly needs a day off. I feel like he's hit a weak grounder to short every time there's a man on base. Really excited to see what this team can do when Greinke, Hart and Lucroy get back.

I really wish RRR would break up the lefties. Or better yet simply swap Morgan and Gomez.
