Cut Nieves and Bring Back George Thread
liveforoctober replied to Bombers's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
What are the chances that Melvin and Roenicke are not aware that Kottaras is down there beating the he** out of the ball? Can we all email Haudricourt and plead with him to ask Roenicke in his next presser what is up with Nieves being on the roster? Not that Kottaras is a huge HR threat ... but his bat on the bench could win a a ballgame or two this year and his bat replacing Nieves every 5th day could win a few more. Nieves is costing us at this point... friendship with Wolf or not. This doesn't make sense. -
45 pitches through 2... let's try to get 6 out of you Yo!
-
20 pitches in the first for Yo .. the curve looks good though. It would be real nice to have a stress free night on the bullpen so we can be fresh for the birds...
-
It's not going to happen ... but Reyes would be an idiot to block a trade to Milwuakee for the remainder of the season. He should be dreaming of hitting in front of Braun and Fielder while making a run for the pennant. I know it's ridiculous to even think about ... but can you imagine what our lineup would look like with a Reyes trade and bringing up Green/Gamel to play 3rd if Casey can't figure things out? WeeksReyesBraunFielderHartGamelLucroyMorganpitch That is a sin.
-
Braun's OBP currently .404 .... Prince Fielder .396. I'm enjoying this run with these two in the middle of our lineup.
-
Just a stupid decision to pitch to Prince.
-
That was a dumb bet by me. DP requires contact... *shakes head*
-
I would bet lunch tomorrow on a DP grounder.
-
Couple things. I love Nyjer Morgan. Also, I held my breath for about 15 seconds there when they hit ... I could see Morgan breaking a rib or something with Buck's shin guards leading his slide. Weird call, glad we got the run.
-
Two college arms ... I'll be ok with it. See you both in < 3 years!!
-
I'm happy Jenkins is our rep... that guy never met a low outside change he didn't think he could crush ... but I loved him.
-
nice. good job Lucroy! Glad to see him make good contact.
-
ugh. that would've been back to back triples. *edit* I guess it should have been an out so I'll be ok with it http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif come one Luc... don't do it again.
-
That was a really nice play by Lucroy.
-
I think I kind of want CJ Cron with #15.
-
*fingers crossed* quick path to the bigs. Mr. Jungmann... we need you!
-
Good luck in the next 30 minutes with these two picks ya'll... we need to hit on them.
-
I was kind of hoping that Selig was going to say "MY Milwaukee Brewers are now on the clock" ... also, Casey struck out again.
-
goodnight. thank you prince.
-
any strong preferences from all of you with these two picks? Are you looking for two arms? Restock the bats? College pitcher that can advance fast? Best available? What are preferences?
-
I'm pretty sure that is about as far as Bonifacio can hit it.
-
did that just happen? Yuni and Luc need a talking to.
-
bat on ball Luc ... bat on ball please....
-
way too many pitches in the 1st Greinke ... *sigh* 25 by my count. Let's hope for 6 out of him.
-
well that lead didnt last long.
