  1. Good luck to Prince, my favorite Brewer of all time. Thanks for giving all of us Brewer fans a great six seasons, it's going to be sad not seeing him in the lineup anymore. I hope he dominates well into his thirties, and proves that just because you have a certain bodytype doesn't mean you can't have a long productive career.
  2. Good wins the last 2 games. I'm hoping there trying to flip Stephen Jackson, although I can't imagine they would get much for him. I'd also love to see them get a legit backup C like Pryzbilla.
  3. I think I've finally given up on John Hammond. I'd like to see a new GM brought in before the Bucks lose all of their fans, and move to another city.
  4. Stephen Jackson is suspended for the game tonight against the Knicks. Apparantly he missed the team bus this morning. Please trade him.
  5. This is supposed to be a very deep draft this year. I'd love to get Thomas Robinson from Kansas, he is a beast as a PF, and I think will be a very good NBA player. I also like Anthony Davis and Gilchrist from Kentucky, Barnes from NC, Sullinger from OSU, and Lamb from UConn to name a few.
  6. Great win vs. the Spurs last night. Stephen Jackson, Bogut and Jennings all played well. Jon Leuer played a lot of minutes, and continues to look good.
  7. I actually like Jennings, I believe we just need to get some shooters around him. I definitely think he has improved a ton over last season in both shooting and managing the game.
  8. Wow, what a sad 5 game road trip. It is very hard to watch Stephen Jackson and Drew Gooden play and hoist up so many terrible shots. Jackson can hardly get up and down the court, and he makes some terrible decisions. I think its time to let the young guys like Tobias Harris, Larry Sanders and Jon Leuer get a ton of minutes to let them develop alongside Bogut and Jennings. If these two aren't either traded soon, and/or more minutes aren't given to the young guys, I will stop caring and spending my time and money on the Bucks.
  9. Bucks Brewers Packers Bayern Munich Marquette/Wisconsin Pittsburgh Penguins
  10. Don't most professional sports franchises have that policy? I still think a good NBA game is the best live sporting event in Wisconsin.
  11. I watched Tobias Harris a lot at Tennessee, and he is a very smart basketball player, and a pretty good but not great athlete. I'm not sure whats going on w/ his dehydration issues, but I think he will contribute this season.
  12. Man, that Bucks opener last night was depressing. Stephen Jackson looked like he didn't know how to play basketball, and the overall talent on the Bucks looks pretty low. How in the world did Hammond not get a backup C after last season? We were missing Delfino, Mbah a Moute, and Tobias Harris, which would've made a difference. I hope I'm wrong but I think it's going to be a long season, and I'm usually as optimistic as they come. The good things were Sean Livingston looked good, and Bogut looked a lot healthier than last season.
  13. I've heard conficting reports about his arm, but he's won three gold gloves in CF, and apparantly has great range, so I don't think they'd be hesitant to put him in CF if needed. After reading more about Aoki, I really hope the Brewers sign him.
  14. I like it, and hope the Brewers can work out a deal w/ Aoki. I think this would help cover up for the loss of Braun, and also give us an outstanding 4th outfielder after he comes back. It also gives us flexibility to trade Morgan or Gomez if he becomes so good that we can't take him out of our lineup.
  15. I'm thinking Ankiel would be the cheapest, but I would rather just go w/ Schaefer and Gindl instead of spending the money. I've heard Kubel mentioned around 4 million a year or so, and haven't heard much about Ibanez.
  16. They were getting Scola, Martin, Odom. The Rockets were going to get Gasol.
  17. Chris Paul was traded to the Clippers for Eric Gordon, Al-Farouq Aminu, Chris Kaman and the unprotected 1st round pick from the T-Wolves. I like that haul much better than the original trade w/ the Lakers.
  18. Another guy I like as a MI/3b reserve would be Miguel Tejada, he was terrible last season, but pretty good in 09' and 10', w/ limited ab's he might be a soild addition.
  19. OF-Gomez OF/1b- Luke Scott SS/3b-Edgar Renteria- I think it's going to be important to get Gonzalez plenty of rest, and I think Renteria should play against most LHP's. 1b/3b/2b-Taylor Green C-Kottaras
  20. Good signing. I think Ramirez is the type of player who plays better when he's on a team that has a chance. He is a very good hitter, and will be a nice fit in the middle of our order. If he stays healthy over the next 3 seasons, he will be well worth the money.
  21. You might want to put this in the minor league forum.
  22. I hate Stern, but I'm glad he vetoed that trade. To give up Paul and not a get any draft picks or any young potential star players back is not fair, they Lakers would also be clearing a ton of cap space. If the league were not in control of the Hornets I would be a lot more angry abou this.
  23. I like the Dunleavy signing, he's a good shooter and a smart basketball player. They really only had Jackson, Delfino and Tobias Harris at the 2/3 before adding Dunleavy. Did you watch Keyon Dooling play last year? He is terrible. They gave up a conditional 2nd round pick, which probably means they only get it if the Bucks are in the bottom half of the 2nd round. Who cares?
  24. I'd like to also bring in Renteria as a utility INF, and play him against most LHP's. I think it's going to be important for Alex Gonzalez to be getting plenty of days off.
  25. Why isn't he trade bait on a 1 year deal? I think there are still a few teams that need a closer, and I expect them to trade for him.
