Do you really think that getting a legit backup IF would prevent us from adding someone at the deadline? I don't believe that for a second. Mark A. has shown that he will go above the budget if it means adding the right guy. I feel like getting a legit backup SS is a big deal. That person will likely get 200 some Ab's, and I don't want to just give those away to a guy like Cesar Izturis. Also, Gonzalez is 35 years old, so I'd like to have someone who can provide insurance, in case of injury. Knock on wood.

I actually might prefer Mike Fontenot. He seemed to do pretty well playing SS last season, judging by the advanced statisitcs on fangraphs. Plus he almost had a .800 OPS on the road last season.

I was just thinking the same thing, they have had some crazy ups and downs this year. That's why I don't want to get too excited yet.

They are playing very well right now, Monta and Udoh are fitting in perfectly. Hopefully they can keep it up against the Celtics on Thursday night. I really hope they have a decent crowd for Monta's first game at the BC.

Bucks have now won four in a row after beating Cleveland last night. It's going to be interesting to see how adding Monta Ellis and Ekpe Udoh is going to affect the chemistry.

I don't he'll be traded if thats all he's worth right now. I think they would wait until healthy to trade him. I've heard other reports where the Bucks would be getting a young all star point guard too. So who knows, I'm very interested to see how it ends up.

No, I think Bogut is more likely to be traded. It's going to be an interesting couple days until the deadline on Thursday.

I'll be surprised and dissapointed if we don't lock him up before the season. From everything I've read it seems like he wants to stay here. -
I guess we should assume that they will be going for that 8th seed now. I don't think we're getting Anthony Davis.

I've read a few times that Juan Perez a LH reliever is looking very good and has a chance to make the bullpen. He has some impressive K numbers in the minor leagues.

I don't put too much trust into Woelfel rumors, but I agree that I think its bad timing to trade Bogut. I hope the Bucks are just putting his name out there to see what he can get, and only trade him if they can get significant value back.

I'd be willing to bet a lot of money that Anthony Davis will be the number one pick. I'm not even sure that Drummond will be in the top 5.

I'm still not comfortable w/ our backup middle infiedler options. I hope Melvin realizes this, and comes up w/ a better option before spring training ends.

Sergio Romo is one of my new favorites after hearing that in game interview. I was laughing hysterically at some of his comments and facial expressions. He is such a happy positive guy.

It's going to be an interesting 10 days until the trade deadline. Right now the Bucks are 4 games out of the playoffs, and playing Philly, Chicago and the Knicks this week. If they lose all 3, will they finally give up on the 8th seed and try to look toward the future? I think Ersan has some real value to a contending team right now, and hopefully we can get a 1st rounder or a young prospect for him. I'd also like to see Leuer, Harris and Sanders get more minutes.

Tobias Harris looks like he is going to be a very good player, I think he will be our long term starting 3. I'd love for the Bucks to give Sanders more consistent minutes, I've seen him play well at times, but w/ Skiles in charge I don't see that happening. I don't have a problem trading Jennings, but I would need a guaranteed lottery pick or a very promising young player, and I would like to include Gooden and Jackson in to help w/ our salary cap situation. I don't want Bogut traded until he's healthy, his value has to be very low right now. The Bucks should try to work out a long term deal w/ Ersan right now, if hes too pricey, I think they can trade him and Delfino to a contender for a 1st round pick.

I'm not sure where to put this, but I'd love to hear some first hand reports on players by posters who are able to make it down to Arizona. Any insight would be much appreciated.

That tells me the Brewers still aren't content w/ Izturis, Bianchi and the others battling it out for the backup MI position. I think Renteria would have been a nice addition. I'm betting Miguel Tejada is going to be getting a call soon, if he hasn't already.

So they probably have 2 or 3 seconds to get down the court w/ no timeouts? Wouldn't the Magic just miss the second free throw and let time run out? That does not seem to make more sense than trying for a 3 pointer with 5 seconds left.

I don't understand how at the NBA level w/ 5 seconds left Larry Sanders is trying to make a layup when there down 3 points? Amazing.

Deep down, I think he'll be a very solid 1b for the Brewers. I'm excited for him to finally get a chance, and think he's more than ready for it. -
I agree, Hammond should be fired immediatly for not getting a backup C. He shouldn't be able to touch this roster anymore. There were a bunch of teams after Pryzbilla though, I guess he isn't sure he wants to play anymore.
