  1. So, your wireless network is broadcasting (you can see it on the laptop?) but you cannot connect to it on your laptop? Can you plug in your laptop directly to the router and connect? Yes, that is correct it is broadcasting the network but not allowing me to connect. The only thing it says that it is unable to connect because it had a timeout. Yes, I can plug in my laptop directly to the router and connect it. I'm thinking that I need to change a few settings on my router and laptop, but I'm not exactly sure which ones to look for.
  2. I'm not sure, I will check tonight when I get home? The desktop computer has windows xp and the laptop has vista.
  3. Yes my desktop is also connected to the router.
  4. I'm having trouble trying to access my wireless network at home w/ my laptop. The network shows up on the laptop, but for some reason will not allow me to connect, and I cannot find a solution. Before I started, it would connect, but be local only. Now that I've made some changes it won't connect at all. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
  5. I'm happy they finally decided to part ways w/ Skiles. Although, I'm confused on why they brought him back after hearing he cleaned out his office after last season. Typical Bucks. After this, I'd like to see a lineup of Jennings, Lamb, Harris, Henson, Sanders w/ Udoh, Ersan, LRMAM as the core guys off the bench. I would immediately try to trade Ellis, Dalembert, Gooden, Udrih, Daniels, Pryzbilla for either draft picks, young talent or expiring deals. I would also consider keeping Mike Dunleavy Jr. the rest of this season and signing him to an extension because of the things he brings to this team both on and off the court. He seems like a very solid veteran presence, and a very good basketball player.
  6. I would love to sign Vazquez if he would have any interest in coming back. He's always been one of my favorite pitchers.
  7. I like it, he sounds like an incredible guy and coach from what I've read so far. I definitely have a ton of faith in Barry Alvarez to find the right coach.
  8. I'm looking forward to having a weapon like Gamel off the bench. I think he will be a valuable piece to next years team as the main reserve and get plenty of AB's. I think we should keep him.
  9. It'll be fun to follow the Jays this season. They have a pretty good rotation w/ Dickey, Josh Johnson, Romero, Morrow and Buerhle. They also have a lot of good bats in that lineup w/ Reyes, Bautista, Lawrie, Melky, Rasmus and Encarnacion. I agree that they might have given up a little too much, but that might change if Dickey keeps performing at this level.
  10. I was about to come post the same thing. Judging by his numbers last year I agree that he'd be worth a chance.
  11. I'd like to pick up Scott Hairston as our 4th OF/semi platoon w/ Aoki, he does very well vs. LHP's and provides a lot versatilaty in the OF.
  12. I'd like to see the Brewers pursue Tom Gorzelanny and Tim Stauffer, both have had success as a reliever and proven capable as a starter. I think both could play big roles on this team. I'm ok w/ them not giving big money to any free agent pitchers this season, especially w/ the overpaying that's been happening.. I really like our starter options in Gallardo, Estrada, Fiers, Peralta, Rogers, Narveson, Thornburg and Burgos.
  13. I've noticed Michael Bourn seems to be running out of options, and possibly has his pricetag coming down. He seems to be really coming into his own as a player and I love watching him play. I know it's probably not realistic or necessary, but what do people think about him as a potential Brewer. Is he enough of a difference maker to take a chance on? If we keep Gomez around were going to have to pay him a lot also, so we could trade Gomez for pitching if we acquire Bourn.
  14. I think theres no way that Estrada isn't in the rotation next year. His stats last year were very impressive 138.1 IP, 3.64 ERA, 3.35 FIP, 1.142 WHIP, 143/29 K/BB. That's legit #2 starter numbers. He also seemed to get better and better as the season went on. That was one heck of an underrated pickup by the nugget miner.
  15. I'd like to see the Brewers take a shot on Tim Stauffer, I'm not sure if he'll be ready to play come spring training, but he was a lock down reliever back in 2010.
  16. What a great game last night. I really like Doron Lamb, he played w/ incredible composure down the stretch. It was also nice to see Epke Udoh be more aggresive offensively. I agree that Monta Ellis should be traded. He has the physical tools to be a great player, but is lacking on the mental part of the game. I think this team could be great w/ a 2 guard that is over 6'1" that can shoot from outside like Afflalo, Reddick or Wilson Chandler. Get it done Hammond.
  17. I've read a lot about Cleveland having a couple guys I really like on the trade market in Shin Soo Choo, Chris Perez and Justin Masterson. I think all 3 of them would fit in very well with the Brewers, and potentially fill all of our holes. The question is, what would it take to get all 3 of them and would it be worth it? What would it take to just get Masterson and Perez, since pitching is more of a need?
  18. Bucks looked good last night, it seems Dalembert is starting to get in a little better shape. Hopefully they can keep it up.
  19. I'm thinking about taking my 3 1/2 year old daughter to the Bucks game on Saturday night. I'm wondering if other parents think that might be too early or do you think I should give it a shot. I'm having a hard time deciding.
  20. Anybody know of a good website to watch soccer? Particuarly Bayern Munchen and EPL games?
  21. Thanks for the updates Tedaldtada, it's much appreciated.
  22. I'd also like to see Gindl called up.
  23. Sheets was a tremendous talent and one of my favorite Brewers ever. I'm baffled by the amount of hate he gets from certain people. The man may have had some injury issues, but he always gave everything he had and was truly a pleasure to watch and listen to both on and off the field. I'm glad to see him doing so well again w/ the Braves, and hope it continues into the playoffs. I really hope he gets a nice ovation from the Miller Park crowd if he pitches here.
  24. With Rose out for the season, I think the Pacers will win the division, and the Bucks might have a chance to take 2nd. But I can't see the Bucks getting much higher than the 8th seed.
  25. Ilyasova is definitely not a 3, I'm 99% sure that he will be the starting PF this year. Also, they have mentioned a ton of times that Gooden will be moving back to his natural PF spot and LRMAM will be switching back to SF. I believe they will make a trade before the end of they year to clear up the glut of PF/C's, and I'm very hopeful that Gooden will be the guy to go.
