  1. I totally agree, hopefully he gets back to the 2017 and early 2018 version.
  2. I think I'd prefer Jed Lowrie or Marwin Gonzalez signed, but wouldn't hate the Brewers getting Dozier. Definitely could help them win some games. I much prefer the versatility of Lowrie and Gonzalez both at the plate and in the field.
  3. I think it's mandatory that we get an upgrade at 2b, whether it's Daniel Murphy, Brian Dozier or Asdrubal Cabrera. But we have to find a one or two year stopgap. Also, I think another obvious thing would be to upgrade our catching position, I love Kratz, but I think it's important to go into the year with a better catching partner for Pina. I'd love to get someone like Realmuto or Grandal but I'm not sure how possible that is. Although it may be more feasible to just find a better backup.
  4. I'd be excited to get Tulo at this cost, and I hope he picks the Brewers. However, as a fan, I wouldn't go into it expecting too much. Anything he would provide would be a bonus.
  5. Asdrubal Cabrera seems to make a lot of sense here, I think he'd be cheaper than Lowrie or Daniel Murphy, and more versatile defensively.
  6. Really disappointed we didn't get Ramos. He seemed to make so much sense and was signed for a fairly reasonable amount.
  7. I'm ok with moving on from Wade Miley. I thought he was great down the stretch for the Brewers, but don't want to invest a significant amount on him.
  8. The righty/lefty splits probably won't matter as much at the catcher position though. I would assume certain catchers would be catching certain pitchers. Good point, although I thought Counsell didn't really do it that way.
  9. I'm really hoping we sign Ramos. A Ramos/Pina catching duo would be pretty damn good. Especially with Ramos being so good against LHP's and Pina being above average vs. RHP's. Seems like a perfect duo and would be a major upgrade.
  10. This is fun, I'll give it a whirl. C - Pina, Kratz 1b - Aguilar, Thames 2b - Shaw, Schoop SS - Arcia, Perez 3b - Moustakas OF - Yelich, Cain, Braun, Granderson, Santana P - Gonzalez, Chacin, Anderson, Miley Jeffress, Hader, Knebel, Soria, Burnes, Guerra, Cedeno
  11. I'm not a fan of Braun because what he tried to do to the trainer who took his sample. He tried to vilify him, even though he knew he did nothing wrong. That to me was ultimate bush league.
  12. That would be a great pickup. He's proven in the playoffs and has been somewhat unlucky this year.
  13. He's had a few rough outings but also some very nice ones in late July and August. I wouldn't mind picking him up with the hopes of getting the good Gio.
  14. I could see Danny Duffy and/or Mike Minor potentially being acquired.
  15. 100% yes, let him go.
  16. I also think David Stearns is pretty brilliant. Hopefully Swarzak pitches like he has all season, would be a big pickup.
  17. I don't want to see Brinson traded. I think he has the best shot of being a superstar type player.
  18. I'd like to see any of Burnes, Woodruff and Wang get a chance.
  19. I'd be pretty thrilled to get either one of these guys, although I have no doubt the price will be steep.
  20. No idea, but I know I'm 100% on board with him being traded, if we can get even a decent package in return. I'm confident enough in our OF depth, between Perez, Brinson, Phillips, and Cordell.
  21. I'd like to see Burnes promoted to AA, along with Gatewood. I'd like to see Bubba Derby promoted to AAA. Parker Berberet has been pretty darn dominant in his transition to pitcher at Wisconsin, I wouldn't mind seeing him move up to Carolina. Trey Supak also looks like he could probably handle Carolina. Finally, I would like to see Tristan Archer given a shot with the Brewers.
  22. So Tristan Archer continues to be very impressive.
  23. I love this thread by the way. One of my all time Brewerfan favorites.
  24. Nelson has pitched well recently. I'd like to see Tristan Archer get a shot in the bullpen if he keeps pitching well.
  25. I don't know, Faedo throws at such a weird arm angle. It kind of makes me hesitant to draft a guy like that after Jungmann and Medieros.
