    Another Cuban prospect became available, his name is Yosvani Bell. Google him and he has a hitting video that looks pretty impressive. He is like a bull.

    Broke my leg playing soccer yesterday and the pain killers aren't working enough. Not very fun

    My guess is we end up w one of Soriano or KRod. With KRod the obvious fit. I'd want in order Papelbon, Soriano and then KRod.

    Its hard for me not to cheer for guys like him. He was an amazing story w the Marlins and seems like a good guy.

    I want the brewers to win and Papelbon would immediately become our best and most reliable relief pitcher. He is a quirky guy but hasn't done anything too terrible so I'm excited about the possibility of him becoming a Brewer.

    If they would pick up some money on him I'd be excited to get him as our closer. He's been one of the best the last few seasons.

    What's the status of Thornburg and Henderson? If we can get those two back, I really like our bullpen. I'd be interested in bringing in Rafael Soriano.

    Meh?? I don't love it but don't hate it. Definitely doesn't get me more excited for the season.

    Mine is of my favorite brewer ever Teddy Higuera. He helped make me a lifelong fan as a kid. It was weird to see a dominant brewer pitcher.

    The Rays signed Asdrubal Cabrera, so apparantly Zobrist is available. I know we are maxed out on money, but if we could find a way to get him, I would be ecstatic.

    They can't extend Knight until after the season. I beleive they had until October 31st. Personally I'm not sure I want him back. He's a frustrating player to watch and I'm sure someone will give him a large contract.

    I hope they just play the young guys, but I'm still pretty sure they will play the vets more and go for the 8th seed. I see Dudley and Ersan's minutes going way up.

    I think they did the Xray right away, but the MRI is where they will find if he as ligament damage. I think that is being done today.

    I'm probably in a pretty small minority, but I would have been OK with them letting Clark, Rogers, Halton and Morris go at it in ST. No they aren't grizzled veterans or dreamy prospects so they have no sizzle, but there's no way its a "glaring weakness." Rogers and Halton have good splits against LH pitching. I keep reading that improvements cost money. If Rogers turns into a average 1B, they could use him for 3 seasons and flip him eventually. If Rogers and Craig had the exact same at bats, Craig will likely hit better but thats if he stays healthy, unlikely in my opinion, and he costs, much, much more. It seems a lot of people think you can spin the Earth in reverse really fast and go back to 2 or 3 years ago. If only Melvin could do a Jedi mind trick and convince Brewers nation that he got Hector Gomez in the rule V draft. What does the rule 5 draft have anything to do w/ what I was saying?

    I feel like every Brewers season there is a glaring weakness heading into the season w/ DM at the helm, that is brought up by fans. This year, while still early in the off-season, I think it's the counting on Lind as our 1b, since he can't touch LHP, and has had some major injury issues, especially w/ his back. Also, we don't have a reliable backup MI. I hope these things are taken care of before the season.

    I know he's not just sitting around doing nothing, but I'm kind of annoyed that DM keeps mentioning that he thinks this team is set. After last season, that's not what fans want to hear.

    You are forgiven. I knew he was injured, and had a terrible season, but I didn't know his knees were totally shot. Either way, if he checked out medically, I'd still take a chance on him on a low risk deal.

    I wouldn't mind seeing the Brewers sign Mike Morse, or Corey Hart if he checks out medically. Both could play vs. LHP's at 1b, and split AB's against RHP's in LF. Both seem like they would fit well.
