  1. "I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when the courage of Men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of wolves and shattered shields when the Age of Men comes crashing down, but it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good earth, I bid you stand, Men of the West!" http://www.tuckborough.net/images/aragorn-morannon.jpg
  2. Seth McClung's looking more and more like a keeper in that bullpen. Man, has he been impressive lately.
  3. So an injured LF is the reason we're winning, right? *sigh* Go bullpen, I guess.
  4. Is ANY of the Brewers staff working on scouting reports for Jim Edmonds or Mike Fontenot?! Good lord! Jim Edmonds digs the outside corner. Stop hammering it!
  5. Fredi Gonzalez would tell him to rub some dirt on it and give him a nice firm handshake.
  6. Here we go again with the 1-1 tie/200 Cubs baserunners torture. This whole pennant race thing is fun but really stressful.
  7. Crap, now they're actually going to have to score more than a run to win this one.
  8. I can't believe how much trouble they've had with the Pirates in this series. By the way, thanks Lou.
  9. Zachjack won a game for the Tribe tonight...against the RED SOX.
  10. Man, and I thought they'd already hit rock bottom.
  11. Wow. They're REALLY going to miss out on the playoffs again.
  12. Well, at least they have more than 5 hits. Oh wait...
  13. Huh. I don't remember ever seeing Gagne pitch from the windup before.
  14. BA says that Braun going out of the strike zone is uncharacteristic. Grabow could've thrown to 1st base and Ryan would've swung.
  15. I've never seen so many piece of crap jam-shot singles from one team in a game. Incredible.
  16. You just don't expect to load the bases without making an out in front of Braun and Fielder very often. It's very deflating that they couldn't do anything with it.
  17. Sometimes I just cannot believe that Ned Yost still has a job. First I heard that Laynce Nix was hitting 3rd (it's beyond words for me, really - a lineup structured based on position), and now I witness Ben Sheets leaving every pitch up in the zone and Ned STILL does not pull him out when Gerut comes up.

  19. Bottom line is that the Brewers have 2 hits against the Nationals. If you can't hit the ball you aren't going to win.
  20. The Zimmerman AB just killed that inning. If the Nats can do it, the Brewers can do it. Gotta get a few now.
  21. That *should* be it for Parra. Great game, kid.
  22. Way to pop up that hanging curve-meat-ball middle in, Billy. *nucks* Am I supposed to be satisfied with 1 run there?
  23. I've never been more sad as a Brewers fan, but I'll be damned if I don't show up to work wearing my Brewers shirt tomorrow morning. One bad week isn't going to damper my spirits.
