    Rickie Weeks - 66 PA with RISP batting leadoff (duh), 111 PA with men on Corey Hart - 68 PA with RISP batting 5th/6th, 108 PA with men on Corey will get his chance to drive in runs from the leadoff spot, too.

    I'm saying that hits aren't overrated, milestones are. There isn't much difference between .297 and .300, or 395 and 400 HR. Just because Gehrig didn't get to 3000 hits doesn't mean he isn't on the same level as those who did. We're making the same point; your statement that hits are overrated confuses me.

    I think it's been one of those superstition things the team's been doing lately, seems it's started on this homestand. IMMEDIATELY after he caught the final out Kapler ripped his shirt out of his pants and kind of looked around...I think that's been their form of celebration.
