  1. Have you tried this? https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/182225/1992-Milwaukee-Brewers-Lead-Off-Programs-Elite-Class
  2. Agreed he used roids got away with it. I still believe he and Freese both tested positive when Braun did but theirs were thrown out for being slightly lower than Braun’s levels.
  3. Giannis out for the rest of the game with a back injury. Ugggggg
  4. He is pressing and needs to be sent down to AAA.
  5. This umpires grade is going to be interesting.
  6. This is a quick way to get your resume thrown in the garbage if you are applying to any corporate job. This may work with a small business but any large company with an HR department is basically just throwing this in the garbage. Great you met someone at the office now your resume is in the garbage can and will never be seen now please apply on the company website. At the company I work at the policy is we don't take paper resumes. Thank you for coming in but please apply on the corporate website. Oh you are leaving your resume with me well thank you but now it is going in the garbage can once you leave. A quick edit if you want to meet someone go to the hiring events. That will be more beneficial then showing up randomly and handing over a resume. Also come with questions about the company not the job(s) being offered. Don't ask questions about the job because 99.99999999999999999998% of the time the recruiter has no idea what the job is beyond what is in the job description.
  7. Peralta the biggest enigma. Good then utter trash for no reason at all.
  8. Sigh bad Peralta first inning showed up today.
  9. It came out after the trade. The Brewers and Giants were not able to agree on the players the Brewers would give up for Rodon. It was a bigger deal that was being worked on instead of just Rosenthal it would have been Rodon and Rosenthal but that deal broke down.
  10. https://theathletic.com/4409306/2023/04/14/mlb-streaming-tv-blackouts/?source=user_shared_article According to Manfred the Cardinals only reach 15% of their TV viewership. Now think about the other teams and you can see there is a serious problem for MLB and TV viewership. Currently this is MLB’s #1 priority.
  11. Would have been out by a lot if he went.
  12. ChatGPT only goes to 2021. So a bunch of players who would be rated highly in 2021 would be my guess.
  13. Still early in the season but the Cardinals rotation is looking really bad and I don't think Wainwright coming back is going to help all that much. Also Wilson Contreras doesn't look all that good so far early in the season.
  14. Could possibly be a replacement for Jones or Dillon. The biggest problem with McBride is he is a bad blocker and his receiving ability is an unknown. If he were a better blocker or if teams had some tape on him catching the ball as a receiver I think he would be gone right around the 3rd round. A 4th or 5th round pick with the Packers run blocking scheme basically makes him a perfect fit for them. I really like McBride as a RB I wish the Bears used more of a zone blocking scheme. But the scheme the Bears use wouldn't be good for McBride. McBride has really good vision and will get a bunch of yards after first contact.
  15. There is no way they would have even tried to trade him before the deadline. I am actually skeptical they will even shop him during the deadline. I wouldn't be surprised if the Angels don't shop Ohtani and will tell teams he is not available regardless of how well they are doing. Moreno is the type of owner who is going to be stubborn and won't trade someone even if it would help his team especially a superstar like Ohtani. It would hurt his ego to let go of someone that popular on the team even if it is the right move to trade the player.
  16. I wouldn't be surprised by a Frelick type as that is about half of what Ohtani is valued at currently. I don't think it will be all that much smaller. There will be a bunch of teams fighting for him which I think will keep his valuation high enough. The Dodgers, Yankees, Cardinals and Blue Jays could all be trying to get Ohtani. The Dodgers have the best chance to get him as they could just outbid someone with Stone and De Paula. That wouldn't even be the best prospects the Dodgers could offer the Angels. The Dodgers have the pitching to outbid anyone for Ohtani. It will all depend on if the Dodgers want Ohtani or not and if they are willing to give up one of their pitching prospects for him. If the Dodgers decide they want Ohtani then I am not sure there is any team that will be able to match what the Dodgers can offer. The Dodgers are basically why I don't see the Brewers willing to get in a bidding war with for Ohtani they just can't win without offering Chourio. Far more likely the Brewers go after the players I listed earlier.
  17. The Brewers were probably going to go with a 6-man rotation anyways for this long road trip as the Brewers don't have an off day until 4/20. That is a long time to go without an off day on the road. I think that is probably why they are overly cautious on this.
  18. Going off of Dane Brugler's from The Athletic Draft Guide.
  19. The only thing I would like to see changed in the NFL would be the penalties at your own endzone. If you get a false start or delay of game or whatever penalty at the whatever yard line instead of doing half the distance to the goal just move the first down marker 5 or 10 yards further.
  20. It definitely will be their asking price. Ohtani has about $60m in excess value. Chourio has more excess value at about $75m. You would have to add two Frelick's to get to Ohtani valuation. With Frelick and Black you are about $20m short. Frelick, Wiemer and Black would get you to Ohtani's excess value. I don't see the Brewers matching the value for Ohtani in a trade. I think Ohtani will be on the Dodgers or Yankees. Something like Stone, Busch, De Paula and another piece is close to what it would take to get Ohtani. The Dodgers are probably the favorites for Ohtani at least trade wise as they have a few pitchers the Angels could choose from.
  21. I don't see that as a realistic target. The Angels would want Chourio plus another prospect or two for Ohtani. I don't think the Brewers would pay that. Also after Chourio there really isn't a prospect in the Brewers system that would be of interest to the Angels. I think the Brewers will have someone lower than Ohtani as their #1 target.
  22. I still prefer a vertical but yeah I agree at some point they have to turn this isn't NASCAR. For vertical you don't really even need a great QB to take advantage of that. Take Cunningham at the end of his career he was basically just lobbing balls to Moss and Carter for the Vikings. A good vertical to me is the most important attribute for a WR. Can the WR out jump whoever is guarding him the next best attribute is can they reliably catch the ball and finally can they create some separation (agility or speed) from the defender. Route running is also important can the QB trust you to be in the spot you are supposed to be in without actually watching you run your route.
  23. I completely disagree just looking at the draft: For DT's there are 14 with a grade of 1-4 and at edge there are 20 with a grade of 1-4. For OT there are 9 with a grade of 1-4, at G there are 9 and at C there are 3. There are going to be draft grade DL's of 2-4 available in the 3rd, 4th and 5th rounds while the majority of the OL's are going to be gone by the 3rd round. You will have to be picking 5-UDF in the later rounds of the draft. This is probably not a popular opinion but if Dewayne McBride is available in the 4th or 5th round I think the Packers go with him. He is a perfect RB fit for zone blocking.
  24. Freaking 90+ today after it being in the 60's and 70's for a few weeks is weird even for here. Sucks that the games are on a weekday for me as I can't get off to see the games ugggg.
