  1. For WR's I prefer a better vertical over speed. Since that vertical will help more when in the red zone than speed. If the WR can out jump a DB then there is very little other than pushing the WR out of bounds that the DB is going to be able to do. You can over come speed in the red zone. I think both are basically the same one is a little bit faster with a slightly better vertical while the other is more agile. In this case I would rather just look at the route running and hands compared to everything else. Both look to be mid 1st or 2nd round picks.
  2. From the late 80's until the Brewers joined the NL I was a Braves and Brewers fan. Also all of my favorite professional sports teams have to start with the letter B. No exceptions.
  3. Maybe they fixed the drag issue they were having with the ball last year.
  4. I don't see the Brewers adding a bat as I think they are contempt with what they have in their young players to fill any holes that may come up. Pitching wise I think the Brewers will try and add a starter to replace Lauer if possible. Someone like Wheeler, Giolito or Lynn I believe will be a target. The Brewers did try and get Carlos Rodon last year from the Giants so I think another starter is probably going to be what they go after. Bullpen is probably the other spot as usual that the Brewers will try and fill.
  5. Because if he stays healthy he has been averaging about 0.6 G/GP the last few years. Even if he drops down to something closer to 0.5 G/GP that still puts him on pace for the 2025-2026 season. https://www.sportingnews.com/ca/nhl/news/alex-ovechkin-career-goal-tracker-wayne-gretzky-record-capitals/ydqlwgfz7vkcyeztib94e9rr
  6. The #7 and #8 seed play each other for the #7 whoever wins gets the #7 seed whoever loses plays for the last spot in the playoffs against the winner of the 9vs10 game.
  7. I think a subscription to MiLB.TV is needed to watch archived games. The only way to watch archived games is through a browser at: https://www.milb.com/live-stream-games/2023/04/09/all/all/brewers or through the first pitch app. I believe both require a separate subscription if you want to watch archived minor league games.
  8. Wisconsin fan rule #2 when there are free giveaways at a sporting event always arrive 2 hours early and get in line. If no line has formed start forming the line.
  9. Because you would be receiving negative value even with extending Woodruff.
  10. He could be a sneaky good pass rusher someone you may want to stash for a year or two and put on a NFL training regiment. If he bulks up he could be a really good pass rusher. Other than his arms and hands he has all of what you are looking for in a edge rusher. While Bowling Green isn't a powerhouse I think Brooks fits in well with the Packers defensive scheme. I think the Packers are short on defensive lineman and need to bolster their defensive line. This draft is also very deep in defensive line talent and very shallow on offensive line talent. Teams are going to snatch up all of the good OL early which should leave a lot of 3rd and 4th round DL types in the 4th and 5th round.
  11. With the NHL regular season ending soon Ovechkin is at 822 career goals. He should get to 894 in 2025. Hopefully more attention will be made around this but I doubt it.
  12. Early in the season but the Cardinals do not look like the clear favorite in the NL Central. It is going to be a long season for them if they can't figure out their rotation.
  13. Yeah that was a weird mock draft in that one. The Bears at #9 were able to get Carter. All of the top QB's were drafted and one of the top OL and one of the CB's were drafted before the Bears picked at #9.
  14. If the White Sox are out of it by the deadline I wonder if they would do something like this?
  15. Packers trade Rodgers to the 49ers: Packers trade Rodgers to the Jets:
  16. I am not sure 7 walks and a hit batter qualifies as starting well right off the rip.
  17. It would be but their downfall is going to be their starting pitching. The 2023 Cardinals look like the 2013 Brewers with better overall hitting.
  18. That would have been me. Loretta and Cirillo are two good comps. Offensively at least they are. Defensively he is closer to Trea Turner.
  19. Hey we keep it family friendly here!
  20. The +/- for the Wizards starting 5 were all negative and negative by a lot. That is just a horrible team I almost feel bad for Bradley Beal but then again he decided to stay there for whatever reason.
  21. If you are into PC's then Tech Jesus errrrrr I mean gamers nexus is awesome. https://www.youtube.com/@GamersNexus Military information analysis and how the US military works: https://www.youtube.com/@RyanMcBethProgramming
  22. Was a good steal attempt and if that ball lands for a hit he is on third base. If Yelich swings and misses he is on 2B. Just a bad outcome with a line drive out.
  23. Right and the Ravens are not willing to give Jackson a deal similar to what the Browns gave Watson. That is the deal Jackson is looking for. If a team does this the Ravens will not match it.
  24. It is extremely unlikely the Ravens will match any offer unless it is within what they are willing to pay Lamar Jackson. Right now the Ravens haven't even come close to Jackson's contract demands. If a team meets or comes close to what Jackson is asking for I highly doubt the Ravens will match at all.
  25. Because Chourio is more than likely a LF than he is a CF. Frelick is also a better LF than he is a CF. If Wiemer and Mitchell are both adding value to the big league club it is more likely that Frelick gets traded than either of those two. Also Frelick hasn't started his clock yet while Mitchell and Wiemer both have started their clocks. A team trading for a prospect will be more interested in retaining as much control as they can. Mitchell's clock has started and thus would have less value to a team trading for a prospect. Wiemer depending on how long he stays up for would also start to be in the same boat as Mitchell. So that leaves Frelick and Chourio. Chourio is the least likely to be traded unless it is for a really big name with a lot of control. Frelick is the odd man out in this scenario which makes him more likely to be the one to be traded.
