  1. When you run the same play over and over again defenses start to catch on. You would think after the 1st INT you would change up the routes. Not PC let's run it again! That is 2 INT where the defender just jumped the route because they knew the route. Yes Mertz shouldn't have thrown it but this is also a scheme and play calling issue. You can't just keep on running the same play over and over again. You have to change some things up in the calls. PC is unwilling to make these changes and adjustments to his play calls. He needs to be fired or removed from the play calling. If WI continues on with PC this team at best is a top 15 team and nothing more.
  2. More horrible play calling. PC just sucks and doesn't know how to use the players he has.
  3. Maybe if the ND WR also come with him and PC doesn't call 2 yard curls on 1st and 20.
  4. Badgers offensive line is getting manhandled by a mediocre ND defensive line.
  5. 1st and 20 and two WR are running 0-5 yard routes. Ummmm it doesn't take a genius to see that is a dumb play.
  6. Special teams is just horrible. Punt returners have no idea when to call a fair catch or let the ball roll. Kickoffs our kicker can barely make it to the goal line. This team is just not that good overall.
  7. We have a big TE but yet refuse to post him up against smaller defenders. Can anyone rationaly explain why?
  8. Would be nice if our punt returner would call for a fair catch and you know catch the ball and not watch it roll for 20-yards.
  9. Would still like to see Ferguson line up in the slot or as the outside WR. Not sure why they don't call some jump balls to him in the corner of the end zone.
  10. Who knew WI had more than 3 pass plays?
  11. ND is running a basic man defense on the WR as they pose no threat. Why does PC continue to run the same plays? He is just a horrible HC as he doesn't help his players out by calling plays to get them in a rhythm. He won't move players around he won't spread players around. He doesn't use motion and he won't deviate from what is not working. He is a horrible HC and needs to be fired. Without an NFL ready RB PC is horrible and can't win and won't change his offense to suit the players he has.
  12. While the QB play has been bad the play calling has been worse. I thought PC was supposed to be good at offensive play calling? He looks like he is coaching a high school football team. The guy just sucks and is incompetent at play calling.
  13. PC needs to be fired already. He doesn't know how to run an offense he may have in the past but now he is lost and can't run a competent offense or at least one that isn't 99.99% predictable. This team is going no where with him as the HC.
  14. That is definitely a catch. He had one foot down and then a second foot down. The ball didn't come loose until he hit the ground after securing the catch.
  15. Notre Dame's offensive line is garbage but is somehow still able to run play action and long pass routes. Wisconsin OL and PC play calling LOL what is that?
  16. I am pretty sure PC playbook is out of the original Tecmo Bowl. There are only 3 pass plays and they are the same routes just switched from one side to the other.
  17. ummmm what?
  18. Better to buy bats in FA than pitching. Bradley being the exception here recently but it is far better economically to buy a bat in FA than it is for pitching as there are usually multiple options that fall into the Brewers price range. Pitching on the other hand you are looking at guys like Anderson, Lohse and Suppan. While some work out Anderson and Lohse were successes you are normally going to get Looper, Suppan and Garza types. Best to stay away from the starting pitching market in FA unless you can get someone that is undervalued like Anderson and Chacin and you can do it for a short-term contract 1-2 years.
  19. After this season we shouldn't have to sign guys like Anderson to fill in roles in the rotation with Lauer, Houser, Ashby and Small all ready to contribute. Will be nice to go into an off season where the Brewers won't have to overpay for a #4 or #5 starter and expect them to be a #3 or #2 type pitcher.
  20. First time I had to lay some people off and that discussion is just horrible and I am not even supposed to be doing this but everyone got put under me due to my boss being on leave and me being the team lead.
