  1. And the sky is blue. I don't get the point of this at all.
  2. No if a team trades for Hart now and then offers a QO all the team gets if that player signs with another team is a comp pick. Which means it will be after the first round. A team in the 11-31 pick range will lose their pick and it goes to no one it just goes away.
  3. Thank You Boston!
  4. The only issue is that Bauer doesn't want to change his pregame routine that is the issue with the Dbacks and Bauer. I would still rather have Segura than Bauer.
  5. I would have traded Gallardo and Fiers/Peralta for this package. For 2013 the Brewers would go from a .500 team to a below .500 team. Not really all that big of a loss. This would then have set the Brewers up for a run in 2014-2019.
  6. Well Greinke did get a no trade clause in a way as Greinke can opt out of his deal if he is traded which makes that even more valuable than a no trade clause.
  7. Former Brewer Efrain Nieves was selected in the third round of the minor league phase by the Toronto Blue Jays.

  9. Not to derail this but I have heard from a friend who works for the Mariners is that Paxton is being discussed in the three team deal for Upton. So I am fairly sure none of the young arms the Mariners have would be available in a trade for Hart. Smoak would probably be a more realistic return.
  10. That may not be a bad option. The Brewers could flip Gordon to the Dbacks for Upton and then flip Upton to the Rangers for Olt and more prospects. It would leave a hole at 2B but I am sure the Brewers could find someone to plug that hole until Scooter or someone else would be ready. Prince is someone who could fill that hole temporarly or even Farris.
  11. This wouldn't make sense for the Orioles and if it did Arrieta/Matusz would be all the Brewers would get in return for Hart. This may make sense for the Brewers it just does not make sense for the Orioles.
  12. Funny. If this is really the reason why Parra's career spiraled downward he really is a mental midget.
  13. I prefer Howell and then Burnett. If the Brewers could somehow get Howell or Burnett that would be awesome and with the trade for Badenhop the bullpen should be rather set. Hopefully the Brewers could add someone like Wilson then as a project and the bullpen should then be complete.
  14. Anyone else rather impressed with how Sanders has played so far? He doesn't look like he is going to be a superstar but he looks as though he can be a very solid piece at least defensively. I am not sold on him being able to score enough to be an everyday player but he is a very good 6th man. I love his defense and rebounding so far.
  15. The Dodgers are not out as of right now and the Angels are still in play but I don't believe either will sign Greinke. I believe the Rangers are going to be the team that comes away with Greinke possibly at some point during the winter meetings or just after.
  16. Sanders with a triple double tonight. He is looking good so far this year.
  17. His 2008 season was probably his best and only good season so far. To bad he started to tire during that stretch as he was the Brewers 2nd best pitcher behind Sheets in the first half of '08. Parra will probably figure it out with another team I just hope it is for a non NL Central team.
  18. Romine is better than Maldanado in all aspects at catcher. Why would the Yankees want Maldonado when they have someone as good or better in Romine?
  19. The Twins or the A's are teams that I could see adding Farris and he could be playing for them in the majors at some point in the year possibly out of spring training.
  20. The Twins or the A's are teams that I could see adding Farris and he could be playing for them in the majors at some point in the year possibly out of spring training.
  21. The Angels wouldn't do this deal as they have a prospect about a year away who can play 3B and is better than Gamel. Something more along the lines that the Angels would want would be Fiers and another prospect.
  22. I know this player won't be a popular pick but Jonathan Sanchez maybe a good pick up in FA. I believe any team could get him on a minor league deal which would be perfect. If one of the younger arms are underperforming it maybe a wise idea to have some depth in the minors.
  23. Would you trade Gallardo for Wil Myers? The Royals are looking to add a pitcher like Shields or Lester and would trade Myers for either of them. I think I would do it though it would be a little tough if it was just Myers for Gallardo. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2012/11/royals-interested-in-shields-lester.html
  24. There is value in the FA market for SP. Brandon McCarthy on an incentive deal would bring a lot of value to the Brewers the same could be said about Liriano. If the Brewers could get either on a incentive deal the value can be rather huge. I would prefer McCarthy over Liriano but either would be fine. As for Sanchez he is a rather good pitcher regardless of if he was on the fantasy waiver wire or not.
  25. Marlins shopping Yunel Escobar even before they got him link. This is one joke of an organization.
