  1. This teams rebounding is just absolutely horrible. I will be glad to see Lopez gone after this season he is just done. He couldn’t out run Robert Traylor from his grave. Definitely need to draft a C who can actually move around the court and isn’t a liability beyond the rim.
  2. It is the Middleton show. Great he finally decided to show up. I would almost be tempted to just bench Lopez going forward.
  3. Lopez is horrible and is an absolute liability if he has to play anywhere but near the rim defensively.
  4. OMG Middleton!
  5. All you had to do was say I thought this article was interesting about Turang and then provide the link. How hard would that be to do?
  6. Such riveting a discussion. If you are going to make a new thread at least add something more than a link.
  7. The Bears FO was so excited when the Falcons made their pick. They were ready to trade the pick if one of the WR’s wasn’t available.
  8. I could see the Packers going with a RB with one of their 3rd round picks. Also don't be surprised if it is a WR/PR/KR.
  9. Giannis out for game 3. It looks like he will be out for the series. Definitely not good for the Bucks if Giannis can't go for game 4 or 5. I think this might be over for the Bucks before Giannis can even get into the series. If Middleton can't step up and put up 25+ points then I don't see this team winning this series.
  10. Wiemer had a high ceiling but it all depended on if he would hit enough. I agree Mitchell had the highest ceiling. I have him comparable to someone like Grady Sizemore, Wiemer closer to Hart/Jenkins and Frelick closer to someone like Kenny Lofton. Frelick has the highest floor of all three OF's but being the weakest of the three defensively in the OF. Frelick should only be playing LF and CF. I do not like Frelick in RF at all. Mitchell and Wiemer are very close defensively in the OF. I still rank the three OF's: 1. Mitchell 2. Frelick 3. Wiemer. I don't believe the Brewers can move either Wiemer or Mitchell in a trade and get anything of value back. Basically if you trade Wiemer now you are getting a AAAA player back at best. If you trade Mitchell now you probably don't get anything back in return. If you want to trade an OF and get some value back it would be Frelick and not Mitchell or Wiemer.
  11. Williams will have his choices to throw to.
  12. I don’t believe so.
  13. The White Sox are at a -79 run differential, could they reach a -500 run differential?
  14. Hmmm I thought that only applied to second round picks. I guess I need to catchup on the NBA’s CBA.
  15. I think the Bucks have to trade their 1st round pick anyways. I don’t believe they have the cap room to sign their 1st round pick.
  16. I disagree. I believe you can make a case for Harrison as the #1 over Williams but not the other two. Williams is clearly the #2 and I would put him 1B with Harrison being 1A. Maye and Daniels should probably be ranked a bit lower but not that much lower.
  17. I think that is telling us the Brewers are not stealing enough. They should have more stolen bases but also more caught stealing. Would like to see the success rate closer to 80%. They are not attempting enough right now.
  18. If they went with a blue I would prefer something like this. Just replace the white stripe with a shade of yellow or gold. Not sure on the text though but maybe a darker blue.
  19. This trade doesn't make any sense unless the Raiders or Broncos are trying to move up also. McCarthy should be there at #11. If the Bears trade #9 it will be to move back further than #11 and if they got #11 in this deal I think they would trade this pick to move out of #11. I think they will want to get more picks especially in the 2nd round. The only way the Bears are not trading the #9 pick is if one of Nabers or Odunze are available which I don't think will happen. I could see a team trading with the Giants to pick up an OT though. I don't see the Commanders making this trade at all. It just doesn't make sense for them to move off the #2 pick especially for this return. I think you are underestimating what it is going to cost to get in the top 3. The Patriots want 3 first round picks at a minimum for #3. I don't see the Commanders giving up a 3rd and only receiving a fourth and fifth round pick with the three first round picks. Yes I know the value is not correct but I think you have to throw the valuations out the window with this draft. All three of the top 3 pick teams need a QB and want to draft a QB. If you are trading to get into the top 3 you are going to have to pay more than what the Panthers gave up last year for either of those two picks. The Patriots are not budging on their ask and I just don't see the Commanders taking anything less than 3 first round picks plus a future 2nd or 3rd for #2. If the Commanders are going to add to the deal it is probably a fifth or a future fourth round pick. Whoever trades into the top 3 will have to pay more than what has been done in the past to do so.
  20. I blame Jason Kidd for this. He didn't really do all that well in the early of Giannis' career to get him to learn this. Also spacing has been bad with Giannis throughout his whole career. It is not something that can be taught it is either you figure it out or you don't. It is not like they haven't been practicing it and Giannis knows this is a problem. He has talked about a few times in some interviews. Giannis is also a poor 3-pt shooter and when they switch high low with Dame and Giannis the defense can basically just ignore Giannis when he goes high and just double team Dame. Lopez and Portis are actually better at the pick and roll with Dame than Giannis is. Giannis should be better at the low high switch but for whatever reason he just doesn't space correctly. He doesn't attack the basket quick enough or he moves to the high position when he should be going low.
  21. The problem with Giannis is that he still doesn't understand what he needs to do in the pick and roll. He either just stands there allowing the defender to cover Dame and not allow for an easy pass to the basket. Giannis is just not good at spacing in the pick and roll. He either sticks to close to Dame or he goes high when he supposed to go low or he moves to the wrong spot. It is not Giannis wanting the ball every possession it is him not understanding the pick and roll. To be honest it would probably be better to use Middleton and Dame in the pick and roll but the Bucks rarely use Middleton in the pick and roll. While Middleton is a better shooter and you don't want Giannis sitting on the 3-point line. Giannis has just not grasped the concept of where he needs to be in the pick and roll. It has been a problem all season long.
  22. Almost a perfect outcome for the Bucks today the Pacers have come out flat other than Siakam.
  23. Still far better than Jim Edmonds and the other person for the Cardinals. The game was just absolutely horrible to listen to on Friday on MLB Network. Edmonds is just bad. .
  24. I think the only player you are missing is OT Kiran Amegadjie. Who looks like he has moved from a day 3 grade to somewhere in the 2nd round. https://www.si.com/nfl/packers/2024-nfl-draft-visits-kiran-Amegadjie
  25. Dame playing angry I like it!
